    I like your tutorial and never have I seen it done with 5 squares. I use to crochet sweaters, scarves, mermaid and merman blankets, and large bags. But now I only crochet hat's and this was very helpful to me. Thank you for sharing your talents with me and have a great day. Happy Easter to you and your family.

    Hello, love this little hat, you have made a very clear understandable tutorial, would you do a granny beanie with a small ribbed brim, as a different twist on the bucket hat, I can do the hat no problem but im not sure whether Id need to decrease on a brim or not. :)

    • @ABoCStudio
      @ABoCStudio  Рік тому +1

      Hii, sounds great!🤩 I think you can definitely figure out how to do it when you get to the brim part (basically, you'll skip the increasing stitches and the number of stitches the same on each row, by doing so the brim won't open up). If you need any further help, don't hesitate to ask me 😉

      Hiii to increase the brim you would do the same as the previous brim rows. works increase stitch 2Dc C1 2Dc in: Eaither in the middle of the squares or under the joinning line (which ever available on the row) 😉🧶

      Hii, yarn category doesn't depend on number ply because ply have different sizes/types too. To find out category your yarn in you can use WPI method, follow this link:

    • @abbigalebeerer6832
      @abbigalebeerer6832 6 місяців тому +1

      The size of the completed project will depend on the size of one granny square. If you take the size of your head rounded up to the nearest 5, then divide by five, that is how big your squares will need to be. For example, my head is 22in, rounded up to the nearest 5 is 25, and 25/5 is 5, so i would need granny squares that are 5in. along one side. The size of your hook and the yarn you are using will determine how big one square is. This is where the chart comes in handy, it shows what size hook and some yarns you need in order to achieve the sizes she shows. I would recommend making one square and measuring from there.
      Hope this helps!! Happy crocheting

      Wow, thanks for the tips. I want to ask again 😢, I have reached the part to make the hot brim and in the tutorial you put your stitch marker in the middle of the hole. However, because I added one more row, I only got 4 holes. Where should I put the stitch marker? @@ABoCStudio

    Hi! I really loved this tutorial but my hat has turned out a bit too small. I've blocked the squares before putting it all together but i wanted to ask you if there maybe is a way to block it as a whole? It's my first time doing a hat so I'm not really familliar with the topic.

      Hii💞 sorry about the late reply. You can definitely block it as a whole, if you have a steamer that would be great. You can put it on a head mannequin (a ball with same size of your head will do too) and use the steamer to block the stitches 🧶
