Im not saying not to keep your equipment dirty but wesr yiur equipment once in a while, go through physicsl motions yiu may need to perform like crawling and jumping and hiding in the brush. Make sure your stuff is tigjt and doesnt make noise. I put on my battle gear and do jumping jacks. Makes sure i got freedom of movement, its not too hewvy and i listen for clinking. Any noise i hear, i address. Either using hockey stick wrap tape. Or remove the offending piece. Or tie it down with a zip tie or black hemp rope/string. It ages with the stuff its tied down too and doesnt stand out in low light/flash light. One addition ive made to my "tool" locker is i mounted a battery operated RED light, that i press with a finger in and it turns on. The edges have red leds that rub off a usb battery and can also be turned on if needed. Theres a strip of whiye leds too incase i need that brightness. In case the house has no power and its night, you want to be able to illuminate what you doing AND retain your night sight. Having a red lens flash light hanging with your kit is a great way to continue to preserve that night vision.
Just a little suggestion. Wood holds moisture, they sell stuff for pewpew cabinets to help take moisture out if the air so your stuff don't rust. I know these probably oil on them but the moisture is a killer.
I love the cabinet build. I like the fact that it has a lock but the fact that you can unscrew the hinges and open it from the opposite side is kind of crazy. I'd get that fixed

We are not defying Gods will if we are doing what he says to do and we are not in the 7-year tribulation yet. The return of Jesus taking his people out this earth is what's going to unleash the worst time in human history. I strongly believe there's a difference between self defense to defend your family and murder, we should defend only if necessary. Basically the world right now is being prepared for the Antichrist agenda. The world has been conditioned for the mark of the beast with the virus agenda, we are quickly moving into a cashless society. The world is also right now being conditioned about aliens because the return of Jesus is at the door. They want to blame the disappearance of many on an alien abduction, WW3 is right around the corner also and so much more. Again, it's more important to prepare spiritually because in the end that's all that's going to matter.

Looking like a soldier will paint you as a target unless you are one. Try mixing some grey man logic just to help blend in unless you are living in the country then nvm lol but god speed like the current setup!

Any concern about humidity and the rifle? Guessing it is in climate-controlled area but I live in the southeast US and if I put something like that in the garage it would have corrosion issues. I keep all of my stuff in pelican cases with silica packets. Also, I get it that it is probably just to keep out kids or whatever, but the hinges are on the outside with screw access. Normally you'd fold these in.

Hey Joe, as a fellow prepper, what are your feelings on showing everyone your preps. Luckily, you dont appear to live in an uban area but some of us who do, i feel, have to be very secretive so as not to become a target on some gangs' city map when the SHTF. Opsec is critical when everyone else around you finds themself desperate within a few days of something big happening. I greatly appreciate being able to compare multiple prep outs, just dont feel comfortable putting mine out there for others to see...

I keep my toilet paper and other paper supplies in large Totes to keep mice out. Works for me.
