This is "Hawaii Calls" by Joel Shaw and his Orchestra on Perfect 8-02-12 with vocals by Pat Henry recorded and released in 1938.
While this record would have been fine on any of my Orthophonic machines, I decided I'd let my Garrard Type A automatic player take this disc for a spin today, just for something a little different. I have it hooked up through an early 60s Magnavox console stereo which does have its own turntable, but this one is just much more fun to watch. The Garrard also required a bit more restoration and for that alone I have a soft spot for it.
I've been unable to find this record anywhere on UA-cam, so here it is!
