Good Morning Aubrey! I try to stick to mostly the same recipe for the label reasons. I have a rollo printer now, I should probably work out how to use it for more than my shipping labels and my barcode labels...🤗
@@WalnutCreekBathBoutique I don’t know why… I just struggle with keeping just a few recipes. 😂 I tried to narrow it to just 5 or 6 and it was an epic fail on my part. Most of my recipes are just variations of something I’ve made before, but some others are completely different.
Oh, gawds, when the power went out! 🤣🤣🤣 Thank you for leaving that part in. I needed that laugh! The soap is absolutely lovely. It's a wonderful sunset feel. Have an amazing day, hon! 🥰
i wing my soaps too, dont plan anything out. just have a basic idea in my head and then i go with the flow so to speak based on how the FO behaves in the batter.
I am having the hardest time figuring out the citric acid in my lye water, if I use citric acid I need to increase my lye. But I don’t know the amounts. Is there an easy formula?
My soapmaker 3 calculates that for me. I did find that this calculator will also - www.soapmakingfriend.com/soap-making-recipe-builder-lye-calculator but essentially for every 1g citric acid increase lye 0.624g - rounding to .6g is fine as your superfat will cover you. I use 1.5% of my oils in CA. so maybe for every 10 g of CA add 6 g of lye hope that helps!🤗
@@WalnutCreekBathBoutique this is wonderful, I only knew about soapcalc. Thank you for sharing, this will definitely help. I love that it includes different milks and such.
Your dog Lilly started barking and my dogs went crazy looking for her!! 😂
haha - Love that! Does your dogs bark if there is a door bell on tv - Lily goes crazy! 😂
I rarely plan anything. I even frequently make up new recipes on a whim. 😂 It’s fun!
I do the same 😂 the only thing that stinks is going to market and all the different ingredient labels LOL
@@roxaneevans1187 yeah. 😂 I’m glad that I have a thermal printer.
@@MsAubrey I have one also, just got it last week

I love this! I’m wondering how the top drizzle would’ve turned out with the original blue too? So beautiful!!
ohh, blue and yellow are so pretty together, I am sure it would have! Good thought - thank you 😍
Tammy you're so funny, beautiful soap but the dark blue is still not bluing. Love from sunny Trinidad and Tobago (tobaygo)
Oh thank you! 💕I appreciate your comment (thanks for letting me know how to say Tobago -I need all the help I can get😂😂😂)
