You didn't realize it, but the video actually is a sequel to the story line of Congratulations. This is basically looking back at the relationship from the girl's point of view in a more bittersweet kind of way.

I love this song so much. Recently, it started trending and even the members were happy but confused, like why all of a sudden? If I understand correctly, people were bringing attention to songs that deserved more attention and recognition than what they'd gotten and a lot of people thought You Were Beautiful fit the bill.
Also suddenly trended last December I think? Like even Jae was confused on twt lmaoooooo and people were captioning "Yeppeosseo the world"/"Yeppeosseo world domination"

This one and 'Congratulations' go hand in hand, each is the perspective of one of the 2 in the relationship. I highly recommend you watching them both once again. (Little disclaimer, you may cry harder but it's ok, we all did. And yeah, all of us went back to 'Congratulations' after this one came out)

This was the first MV that I watched from them, which instantly made me a Myday. I totally cried in the breakup part, eventhough I haven't gone into any relationships. The song is really powerful.
Day6's 예뻤어 is the equivalent of BTS's Spring Day. Both comeback Queens.
DAY6 can actually make you feel hopeful&hopeless at the same time.😭 That's the magic of their music.

DAY6 ZOMBIE brings back my EMO ERA.. like jimmy eat world and dashboard confessional that does EMO sounds songs lyrics that talks about mental issues and society.. I loved how korean music NOW had this kind of GENRE and i love how day6 matured in their craft as a musicians.. Im so happy they did this, bec. WE NEED this kind of songs now a days cuz you cant hear anymore of this kind of GENRE.. 2020 korean band music industries did evolved due to this deep emotinal issues SONG.. I dont know if KOREANS / millenials GEN. knew what im saying but i hope you'll enjoy this kind of concept and get insperation out of it..

I think the story in this video is a continuation of “Congratulations”. It was the girl that broke up with him and moved on. Looks like now she is regretting it. Or atleast reminiscing.

2. offonoff: very creative rnb and soul influences, relatively new guys, very chill. (my favorite songs: overthinking, bath, moon)
Both are not really kpop in the way you know. But they are definitely QUALITY

There's this kinda obscure band called Thornapple that I think you'd love. Based on what I've heard you praising Day6 for, I think you'd really appreciate them. Their music is really good. Indie rock might be the best genre I would fit it under.
