    I have always loved to do the"boneless one",wich were the name for it up here in Scandinavia,in the mid-80`s-just because its the first trick you have a chance of Learning-and once you learned it,you can work&blast them every wich way-my 2 favorites are the "270 f.side"one,on a pyramid-an nd a harder one,wich is try to GO BIG on a hip..,..Dont stop skateboarding now-you hear...)?..,..))

    What is it called when you grab with your front hand? I'm goofy footed and I grab with my right hand, which I always felt was more comfortable and gives me more pop. I'm still planting my front foot. Is there a different name for the trick I'm doing?

      @ultimomondocannibale6084 2 роки тому +1

      Yo, i know this is nine years old and you’ve probably figured it out by now but if there’s anybody else wondering; if you’re grabbing with your front hand and planting with your front foot, you’re doing a bean plant

    What I'm basically forced to do because I just cannot Ollie for the life of me, lmao, at least on a modern style board. I actually had BETTER success with Ollies using the legit 80's deck my uncle had given to me, probably due to that design giving much more overall stability and, in general, the fact my feet could actually fucking fit the board without hanging off, lol.
    Though I think the board I'm using now, yet another handmedown, but this one a 90's/early 2000's double sider, may actually be a bit too loose, the trucks, but I have no way I know of of actually fixing that if that's the issue as there are no visible bolts on the trucks themselves, only the bushings.

    • @Cr4z3d
      @Cr4z3d 9 років тому +1

      Tbh though boneless might actually be kind of more fun in general and, as demonstrated here, very flexible with practice as well, if not more so.

    • @SuperKalmageddon
      @SuperKalmageddon 9 років тому +3

      +Cr4z3d If you can't land an ollie on a double tail try buying a wider deck and ollie on that so that you get used to the landings I ride a 9.5

    • @Cr4z3d
      @Cr4z3d 9 років тому

      +David Wong Meh, I pretty much quit skateboarding anyway plus we don't really have a shop shop around here that I can get a 100% custom tailored board anyway, would probably be way too expensive anyway. I actually used to have a legit 80's deck, which I seemed to have a lot more success with, partially BECAUSE it actually fit my feet, lol. Problem is they really are heavy as hell, but that also gives added stability.

    To all the kooks criticizing their shoes: have you ever thought that maybe as you get older, especially after years of physical strain from something as intense as skating, you'll start to care less about what looks "cool", and more about what's comfortable on your feet? Look at how good they are at what they do. They can wear whatever the hell they want.

    • @anzaeria
      @anzaeria 3 роки тому

      I used to do this trick in the 80s and never had any issues. However, I got back into skating recently and when I started doing the boneless again, I got a little lower back pain. However, I don't see why it would be bad for the back. In weight training, your back is bent over in a similar way when you perform the exercise 'bent over rows' with a barbell.
