When they landed like 2cm away from eachother is so corny and hilarious
This is the most early 2000's vibe I've ever seen lmao, I don't even know if this was made during that time but it's vibin like that.
It was
11 years ago lmao😂
@@tylerskott4903 Nah it was uploaded 11 years ago but the original footage is definitely from the early 2000s.
Definitely either 2003 or 2004, the latest.
I had the 3 DVD series on the tony hawk trick tips
The two coolest skaters ever, Mike Vallely and Tony Hawk!
Man, i had this on VHS as a kid and remember being amazed how effortless they make this look.
What was the point of this video? Everyone knows a boneless is up, up, X.
lol
AgentPigeon Classic.
Best comment I've seen in my entire life
up up A
Agent Pigeon is to teach real life skaters how to do it (PD: i also played thps xd)
I have always loved to do the"boneless one",wich were the name for it up here in Scandinavia,in the mid-80`s-just because its the first trick you have a chance of Learning-and once you learned it,you can work&blast them every wich way-my 2 favorites are the "270 f.side"one,on a pyramid-an nd a harder one, wich is try to GO BIG on a hip..,..Dont stop skateboarding now-you hear...)?..,..))
Just seein the tony hawk trick tips intro is throwback. This channel's awesome
That one annoying mission on tony hawk's american wasteland where you had to jump down a huge set of stairs and do 3 impossibles going down it... Thanks boneless :)
It takes more practice than it looks. Like Mike says at the end, you think you are low enough but. This trick is so old but so good if you can master it.
Tony Hawk with the boat shoes lol
@Masterofthesnacks thats how skate shoes looked back then when this was filmed..koston's shoes where basically every bball shoe rip off..but u could skate those things so good
*lands too close to each other*
*"W H O A A"*
Old school tricks are good for people who are not very good at doing new school tricks. I suck at doing boneless, but I like em.
My two fave skaters in the same video. sweet
Those Etnies V3s that Mike is wearing were the best skate shoes I had ever had... Wish I could get another pair.
ahh yehh this was the exact tricktip that helped me learn the boneless almost 10 years ago!
Two legends
i remember when these were first filmed. Ah, old days.
can i get uuuuuhhhh BONELESS
This will be how I get on curbs. I have a skateboard but I'm about to purchase a longboard and I want to ride it with style. :)
B O N E L E S S
I have this DVD watched it when I first started skating
The boneless is such a cool trick and it's so easy to do
THIS REALLY WORKS!!!!!!!!!! THANKS SOOO MUCH!!!
the first trick I've ever learnd
Is great yo see you this guys do tricks when i was a Chile do this
lol i fell trying to do this today, but i'll get it. thanks guys! :D
this is soooo old i seen this like 10 years ago lol
bonelesses r my favorite trick. they r so fun.
@LimpBalm yes, but it's a little tricky to do it clean and nice looking.
easyest but coolest trick
Im goofy and I use my right hand for this. Is that ok?
Daaaamn. Look at those shoes
thanks dude!
HAHAHAHAHAH when they boneless into each other hahaha corny as fuck!
I find it easier to learn bonelesses with two hands first, and then one hand
How in the HELL did they get Mike to get that helmet on??!!
I was going to say the same shit....
Actually Mike V startes wearing a helmet when his daughters started skateboarding. He wanted to be a good role model.
@manuskateargentina Thanks! We will!
I just did this trick today it's not even that hard, now I'm like THPS in real life
When Mike said two old guys like us... Tony was like wtf lol
do you HAVE to grab the board with your back hand? cuz I grab them with my front hand
I just tried to boneless, now my coffee is all over the carpet..
They should change the name of this from retro trick to best trick ever
awesome
I've always reached around the left side of my board with my right hand. It makes it harder to do and you can do finger flips easier that way.
u guys are fucking awesome, good team
What is it called when you grab with your front hand? I'm goofy footed and I grab with my right hand, which I always felt was more comfortable and gives me more pop. I'm still planting my front foot. Is there a different name for the trick I'm doing?
Yo, i know this is nine years old and you’ve probably figured it out by now but if there’s anybody else wondering; if you’re grabbing with your front hand and planting with your front foot, you’re doing a bean plant
and can you get more Mike V?
So is popping it into your hand wrong? I thought i was cheating when i tried to do it early grab?
Daniel Gallagher skateboarding is whatever tf you want to do
lol fasho
What I'm basically forced to do because I just cannot Ollie for the life of me, lmao, at least on a modern style board. I actually had BETTER success with Ollies using the legit 80's deck my uncle had given to me, probably due to that design giving much more overall stability and, in general, the fact my feet could actually fucking fit the board without hanging off, lol.
Though I think the board I'm using now, yet another handmedown, but this one a 90's/early 2000's double sider, may actually be a bit too loose, the trucks, but I have no way I know of of actually fixing that if that's the issue as there are no visible bolts on the trucks themselves, only the bushings.
Tbh though boneless might actually be kind of more fun in general and, as demonstrated here, very flexible with practice as well, if not more so.
+Cr4z3d If you can't land an ollie on a double tail try buying a wider deck and ollie on that so that you get used to the landings I ride a 9.5
+David Wong Meh, I pretty much quit skateboarding anyway plus we don't really have a shop shop around here that I can get a 100% custom tailored board anyway, would probably be way too expensive anyway. I actually used to have a legit 80's deck, which I seemed to have a lot more success with, partially BECAUSE it actually fit my feet, lol. Problem is they really are heavy as hell, but that also gives added stability.
+Cr4z3d buy an 8.5 or something online
sour grapes
lol, Russian boneless at 1:09
To all the kooks criticizing their shoes: have you ever thought that maybe as you get older, especially after years of physical strain from something as intense as skating, you'll start to care less about what looks "cool", and more about what's comfortable on your feet? Look at how good they are at what they do. They can wear whatever the hell they want.
thanks to this video, I learned to boneless in one day, I now prefer to boneless instead of ollieing XD thanks guys!
Same I do a boneless to get on curbs bc I’m lazy
My favourite trick lol.
it's still a vert trick too...
daora num entendi nada mas fico daora
bem puxados os bonelees delle
@MananasArma Not as bad as doing tricks down staircases.
is tony waring basketball shoes
What are those?!
I think this is how PJ Ladd did his video part.
Someone help me i cannot sail through the air means i cant jump high enough omg i get frustrated someone help me
When i crouch down and grab my board i dont know how to take my foot off the board it either just stays on there or i fall backwards and my board goes flying infront of me. ANY HELP?
thisisme keep your front foot almost all the way off of the backside if the board. this helps to give you that extra pop when you slide it off.
wow so good jarbogogabnida
I have that video
As long as your getting air then yeah :D
1:16 is what we're all here for
Those shoes are the shit
0:54 steeze
If you check out my channel, I have the full version of this trick tips video.
(Tony Hawks Trick tips volume 3)
THE BONELESS WHAT THE... IS SKATEBOARDING TRICK?
after watching this i went out and tried in 5 min. i was able to bust
out a mike v. boneless
why is tony wearing running shoes through out the video
Fresh js tony
What alot of cocky skaters think, that boneless isnt a trick, well if your into vert this may be true, but for a freestyle street skater like me, I see it as freestyle.
Some vert skaters do the boneless on a half pipe.
OK
yes, but that's kinda like backside boneless
Watching tony jawk do anything that isn't vert just looks so silly
LMAO their shoes !
Nice shoes tony lol
i feel like im too heavy
I've never noticed before that Tony Hawk rides goofy
Everytime I see Mike V. I just wanna see him beat up cops. Dont know why lol
Now I can bonless thanks :)
@PotatoPlop Pretty sure that makes it an Eggplant or some shit like that.
Of course you were mate, 5 minutes ofc
christ tony looks awkward doing anything non vert xD
including finger flip...and what the fuck....?
look at his shoes...
Always wear a helmet!
what shoes XD
That was the most scripted “What thuuuuuuh”
Finerflips and what the.... Haha
@PotatoPlop Then thats more like a beanplant.
I don't think this trick is healthy for your back... But then again... You only live once.
I used to do this trick in the 80s and never had any issues. However, I got back into skating recently and when I started doing the boneless again, I got a little lower back pain. However, I don't see why it would be bad for the back. In weight training, your back is bent over in a similar way when you perform the exercise 'bent over rows' with a barbell.
neds mor cowblls
Tony's shoes look like shit haha
If you do this trick it will make you look like a worse skateboarder
russian boneless :)
I love doing the boneless, it's one of my favorite tricks, especially with spins, i just wish it wasn't such a frowned upon trick
1:16 is what we're all here for
