This little bike has been refurbished and is ready to sell! Yes, it's a little rough around the edges, but this bike has been given new life and is ready to rip for years to come. Thank you for supporting the channel!
Nice job man. I just got a 99 for my 10 year old that had a frozen motor, after getting it free looks like no compression with a frame and body that's comparable to yours. I'll be going deep as a father/son project. I am going to have my son watch you videos, I hope that he finds them motivational.
Awesome. Yeah, these types of bikes are the best to learn on. Just to get something from a non-running to running condition will definitely be a great project. Good luck and have fun with it 👍👍.
Hi Jourdon. May I ask if you remember where you got the needle bearing for the fork stem? I am rebuilding an XR80 now and this is one hurdle I need to overcome.
94. Getting ready to xr70 fender it for better proportions and swap my 16” front to a xr70 14” so I’ll be running 14”s all the way around. Doing a mini motard build with it.

I had a 90 xr80 when I was a kid. Bullet proof.
Nice, yeah they are.
Sean Connor agrees

Not sure. Ebay might be your best option.

I believe rockymountainatvmc.com had a kit that upgraded the original ball bearing to the needle bearing.
My first bike ever. XR 80 1990.
Awesome. Great beginner bike.
Anyone out there that used to have a XR??
Nice video! I had a 1983 XL80S. It was my first bike. I'd love to find one to restore one of these days.
Jourdon Gulick my first bike was an xr80r it was great.
I restored a 1991 XR80 two years ago. Great little bikes for kids. Unfortunately is it too little power to work as a pitbike for an adult rider.
Yes, Still have it

Did you end up selling it? I have the same bike I'm trying to flip and am wondering a sell price.
Yeah, I ended up selling it within a few weeks for $1300. I was kind of amazed it went for that much.
Would've sold my left kidney to get one of those when I was 15 or so.
Haha
Im 12 i have 5 dirt bikes😂
Where can i find new plastics HELP
It's tough. Your best bet is ebay.
Maier Plastics has some, a little expensive but they have different color options as well.
It needs valve seals or rings. looks like a 2 stroke smoker.
Oh, no doubt
