If you been in a situation like this, you know for FACT, Mr.Nixon is telling the truth. I know its a hard pill to swallow for MANY people. This is what Self-defense is to a T. This dude could have gotten a beast of a lawyer to properly articulate his story and he could have still taken the stand.

Are people even listening he said they thought he has a app for the police. I’m sorry but I believe him. That lady and her ex set this guy up to pay off the ex debt. I don’t blame him for getting on the stand. He is owning up to everything he is just saying he had no choice but to shoot. They shouldn’t have been trying to rob him. Because if the lady was scared of Adam guy why did she let him come over.

This is not the way you go about proving innocence. If you'd have watched the whole trial, his stories and questions don't point to innocence. Asking for people to be drug tested on the stand to try and divert accusations is crazy.
Oh, and shaving your head, beard and then painting yourself white won't help either.
Get a lawyer to argue for you. Noone I have ever seen represent themselves has been innocent of anything.

If you all have been following this case you would see how all the witnesses have different stories as to what happened. The “base” of the story is the same. But the technicalities of it all are all different. The boyfriend said his GF locked the car and came up right behind him. But then Adam testified that she was in the car for awhile and he called her up. You’d think the BF would recall these events the best, no?

The BF and Adam stated that Adam left from the balcony and came back and the defendant was standing over the bf which allowed him to pistol whip him. But the video show Adam jumping down then the BF after then the defendant after which u can tell he’s very injured include seeing his face. My question is if they story true they say he dropped the gun saying he don’t want to die right? Why they didn’t take the gun and either A shoot him for killing the girl or B held him till the police got there instead the both jump off the balcony and took off leaving his GF. Unless you’re from the hood and have knowledge of hood politics, you may not understand. But I believe every word he said. He was very articulate, clear and concise in his testimony. While he speaks slowly, it’s deliberate, as he’s carefully recalling the situation. His description of the physical environment, the aura of the everyone’s demeanor and his transparency with his own intentions (even his acknowledgment that he was losing the fight with Brian)….all that he said is what I believe happened. It’s all unfortunate that homegirl died but I think they were high & paranoid, attacked him and he defended himself. In my opinion, he’s not guilty. However, with him defending himself, it may already be a wrap for him.

This man was following his dream through education to secure a good job. I don't think he's responsible for this murder. It sounds like people @ that apartment we're doing drugs including meth & that's the reason everything went downhill from there. I'm happy he chose a Judge to hear his case. He wants to make sure he remembers every detail he witnessed that evening whether it takes him 2 hours or 5 hours. I doubt he would throw his achievements & future away. His future & life is on the line. This Judge is going to get it right. I don't believe he committed this murder & I think police jumped the gun that night when watching the neighbors video camera. 😢Ontario, 🇨🇦💔

You people know nothing about the world he lives in. The drugs destroy the brain , it never functions at the correct speed , Their memories are so inhibited . They can't talk at normal speed esp when trying to recall . Their memories are so slow. To start off with the world they live in is so totally different to a normal world. There's no way you can assess a drug user by the same means you'd assess a normal person. I don't blame you cos 10 yrs ago I'd have thought exactly the same but sadly I've been exposed to this drug world that does NOT function like we do.
Their long term memory is there but it comes back in waves. Their short term is sketchy for most.

What pisses me off about his testimony is that he acts as if he was the only one that night who was lucid and thinking clearly even though he was also partaking in the drugs. All these strange things he speaks of…his uncle, silence in the house, people asking him questions he does not like but he doesn’t contribute any of his uneasiness and perceived threats to the meth. Sounds like drug induced paranoia.
