prachtige uitvoering,dank.
Awesome performance of this magnificent piece! Congrats! The great “ Wedge” is one of my favourite fugues…
Thank you very much. It is one of my favourite fugues too!
The middle voices are heroic on this instrument. Excellent performance.

Zeer van genoten, wat een heerlijke drive gooide je erin en dat blijft maar duren... En nee, ik heb geen commentaar op je registratie, gewoon goed, je rubato etc maakt het juist zo sprekend en spannend! Bravo!
Splendid! This is why they call this device "the king of instruments".
Iddo, wat een meesterlijke uitvoering! Een van Hollands mooiste orgels komt op deze manier wel echt helemaal tot z'n recht... Dank!
Bedankt Samuel!
Amazing! Thank you, and may you spend many more evenings with such glorious music, for the benefit of organ lovers.
Wat een schitterende uitvoering. Dit is precies zoals je het zou willen horen. Heerlijk ook dat Bach hier niet zo strak wordt uitgevoerd maar met de muziek die er zo duidelijk in zit.
Bedankt!
Prachtig orgelspel, genoten 🎶🎵👍🎶🎵

Stunning performance of this organ "symphony" in 2 movements
Thank you very much!
@@IddovdGiessen and always remember Karl Richter's words: "Bach has to be played always cantabile". A paraphrase of Bachs own words in his introduction to his inventions 😉
Stunning performance in every way!

Nevertheless the interpretation shown is quite lively and very well phrased and articulated as well. The historic organs sounds marvellous per se.
Thank you!

This is grandest video
Where is, this organ?
Westerkerk in Amsterdam, the Netherlands
To play such a large piece without any changes of manuals seems to me a little bit anachronistic and unexciting: It is a style of interpretation developped by the 1960-80s based on around J.S. Bach but not by Bach himself. In the meantime there are new results in musicology that say that this type of interpretation has not too much to do with Bach's practice. He is like to have changed regularly manuals and also colours!
It can work on fine organs with a fine plenum, but I share your appreciation of some changes in colours and registration. Sometimes I apply those to quite a large extent, for example in the B minor fugue. In this performance, there are changes between different plena and manuals in the fugue.
