You know that feeling when you read a great book? The characters get inside your head and you take them with you into your world? It’s an awesome movie when it has the same effect as a book. That’s why I’m here. I want to see more.
Absolutely, I haven't seen a movie that connected with me through just the acting alone, it was such an amazing film, both Gaga and Cooper deserve Oscars for this.
Ellie May I love both of them and I LOVE movies. I went to see it with my niece and sis who love them and movies too. I thought it was a good movie with great acting, especially the dedication of Bradley not ever singing or playing instruments before. Lady Gaga was amazing in her first movie role. All 3 of us enjoyed it but it didn’t move me inside at all. I didn’t feel that incredible emotional connection like I have to several other meaningful films throughout my life. I thought it was very good but it didn’t move me. Can someone maybe explain what moved them so much? Aloha, peace and love from Hawaii. ❤️❤️❤️
@@MrSprite2005...possible you haven't lived enough yet, I retired from SAG in 2002, Robin Williams' suicide did it for me, though he was only an acquaintance it gutted me for life.

Live acoustic with no autotune or digital editing. Thanks and RESPECT to the legends. Can't wait to see the movie.
Na Man Freaking hate Bradley Cooper (obviously joking)!! You shouldn’t be able to look like that, be a great actor, great director, and apparently great singer. What the hell. Lol. That is not fair.
Who could've expected that Lady Gaga was going to be such a good actress? I immediately bought into her character and her relationship with Jackson Maine. Every character in the movie was believable and acted flawlessly. I thought that I was going to be bored, shuffling my feet and just hoping it would end soon, but I even found myself on the edge of tears at times. Bradley Cooper is always phenomenal, but this was a very special film and an incredible directing debut. A wonderful surprise.
Great to hear you had a good time watching it, CC! I wasn't quite sure what to expect especially as I'm not a fan of country music but the songs (which are more a mix of rock, country, and pop) really stuck in my head after only seeing the film once, which I think is a good sign. Performances were fantastic, as you say, and I think it's amazing that Bradley Cooper has never directed anything - not a short film, not a music video, not a commercial, or anything else - before making this! 😊
Flicks And The City Yes, sometimes it can be difficult to feel in sync with music the first time you hear it, but I agree, I felt at home with all these songs, immediately. A bit like The Greatest Showman.
I knew she would be great. She was really good in American Horror Story. And you could always tell she had the ability to lose herself in character in her music videos. Hope she gets an Oscar!
I saw it opening night, and it was amazing. Very emotional and raw, and they have amazing chemistry. I probably cried for the last 15 mins of the movie. Gaga was spectacular
I've seen it twice in the theatre and would gladly see it again since two girlfriends are going through traumatic times. This movie is something very, very special.
Saw it today, October 8'th, 2018. It's deeply moving and the music is incredible. Lady Gaga deserves an Oscar nomination for this work, and so does Bradley Cooper. I love them both and can't say enough about this film. I'll go see it again. And to anyone reading this, don't wait for Netflix or DVD { Although I will buy it on BlueRay of course.} This film needs to be seen, heard and experienced on the big screen. It's just that good. IMHO.
Jimmy Jones I agree 💯%with you. I actually thought this was the best film I’ve seen in forever. I’ve told everyone I know the same. Has to be seen on big screen to be really appreciated. Can we say Academy Awards perfection.❣️
They will need to hire a large truck to take home all the awards this film will win. Truly one of the best films I've ever seen. Bradley Cooper and Lady Gaga are spectacular. Cried tons... thanks you two for such outstanding performances... directing, song writing and singing.... Love love love this one.
Both Gaga and Cooper gave Oscar-worthy performances. Once in a lifetime gorgeousness. Gaga was absolutely angelic. I had not been a fan before (not a "pop" guy), and all the bananas and feathers and meat she used to wear put me off (sorry!). The trailer captured my interest, however, and I saw the movie on opening day, and was absolutely blown away. OMG!!! I am now a certified lifetime fan. I was stunned by her joy and creativity and grace and POWER. She is a divine performer. She could play God's Little Bulldog - strong and sweet and totally adorable. Cooper was an "OK" actor to me before. His directing here was not merely passable for an actor-turned director in a vanity project, though. It was magnificent. Stunning. Seriously, every note, every beat of his writing, directing, and acting was stellar.
I knew it was good!!! But to say it was FAntastic!! Bradley cooper will win Oscar and lady Gaga will also get Oscar her acting and singing !!! Amazing!!!
To be good the writing has to be good. The film takes both characters on emotional journeys that require top notch acting. Even a film like ‘American sniper’, which cooper was brilliant in, his character was stoic so to say how amazing he was, is hard because he had one emotion the whole movie, as good as he was.
Lol, I watched it with the little lady and it took a bunch of blinking and biting my lips to hold back from losing it during that scene. Didn't want to be that boyfriend that cried during a movie when my girlfriend didn't even get emotional. A little embarrassing.
I’m beyond excited for this movie. I bet Judy Garland is smiling down on them with pride, knowing how much this movie has made a difference in cinema history 😁.
Just saw it this afternoon. The film was amazing, and even more so due to it being Bradley Cooper's directorial debut. Guaranteed Oscar nom's for best actor, best actress, best film, and possibly a supporting nod for Sam Elliott as well. And if Shallow doesn't win best song in a film I'll eat my hat.
But Judy Garland's was the second A Star is Born movie there was one before that in the 1930s. So I hope those Stars also know what an impact this has made.
I cried when she mentioned Sonja, how heartbreaking now I truly do love this movie and gaga more than I already did. My idol, my queen, my inspiration in life 💜👑
Here's a detail that I'd heard, the scene where Jackson tells his brother that he idolized him and not his father was completely improvised. It shook Sam Elliott so much he had to turn his face away from the camera as he began to cry. That was the scene I lost it (for the second time).
alternate story is that Cooper cried during that scene in the table read & was really worried about having to film it & keeping it together for the scene, because he hadn't been able to in any of the rehearsals up to that point. I think that makes much more sense, since the voice was such a big part of the movie plot, with him spending 6 months mastering Sam Elliott's voice, before asking him if he'd be in the movie & then hoping he was going to say yes, otherwise all his work & storyline was gone. I'm wondering is that's the scene that was being referred to in this video with the roses, or if it was the later scene in the garage. I think it has to be one of those 2
Best movie in many years. You will forget your life as you watch this incredible film and it stays with you for days after. The music is perfection and soundtrack will top the charts and If you don’t shed a tear watching this you’re heartless.
I'm a musician, amateur guitar player and singer/songwriter. I identified with this film. Loved the songs, already learned how to play and sing 'Maybe It's Time'. Lady Gaga and Bradley Cooper could not have been a better pair for this remake. I've seen the other remakes and have to say it was time for a modern update, and what a great job they did. I've seen it twice already and will definitely get it when it comes out on DVD. Thank you so much for making this movie, Bradley and Lady Gaga!
This movie is beyond great. You really feel like you are watching these two people fall in love in front of your eyes. You also believe Gaga as Ally singing for the first time her songs. It’s just a beautiful movie that had me in tears from the beginning to end.
I was never a Lady fan but after seeing this movie, I certainly have a new found respect for her. This movie was awesome! And Lady Ga Ga was beautiful.
My girlfriend's daughter is very into Lady Gaga. As a musician I could hear her talent but was turned off by her flamboyance (I am older). This movie was incredible! Cooper and Lady Gaga were magical together and it showed both of their true beauty. The music is incredible and I so much appreciate both their acting and musical efforts. So right about the lip sinking and their real performances made the movie. See ya at the Oscars...
First saw the movie in early February and was so moved went back two more times. Then saw the "Encore" the week after the Oscars. I bought the soundtrack and am taken over by the lyrics and how all the songs tell the story from a very intimate point of view of Ally and Jackson. I fell for these two and their love story. I miss them both and am still grieving Jackson. And yes I listen to the songs everytime I am in my car. Just bought the sheet music and am learning Shallow, Always Remember us this Way, and Your'e Music to My Eyes (my favorite) on the piano. What a movie. I'm glad to hear others were touched as deeply. I'm a new Lady Gaga (Stefani G) and Bradley Cooper fan. I knew very little a about them before except for "Born this Way" and Silver Linings Playbook.
I have watched this movie 5 times - FIVE: two back to back in the movie theater, and three times at home on Vudu. I listen to the music on repeat. And I cry - every single viewing and every time I listen to the soundtrack. Their chemistry together is electric. Best love story in decades. Can't believe Bradley Copper didn't get a nomination for Best Director :-(
I've seen the movie for four times and watching it is much more heartbreaking than the previous time I've watched it. And the album, on loop. Also met some awesome people at my university with the same passion towards the movie and became friends.
After watching this movie weeks ago, and again, in it's encore version, I am convinced that this is the " be all to end all " versions ! Not likely to ever be re-made ever again ! Cooper and Gaga have truly captured that " Genie in the bottle " magic, not likely to ever be caught with this much power, and emotion again ! The incredible amount of time and work put in by these two, and the entire cast is evident from the very early moments of the picture ! Unless you have seen this picture for yourself, no description can do it proper justice !
It's so touching, so moving, it just digg in your soul deeper that you could imagine. It's the most beautiful movie I ever watched, and i watched a lot of movies. After you watch the movie you feel like the characters will always stay with you. And for me I'll forever consider them as a part of myself. Both actors are amazing and did incredibly good job. It's an magnificent movie in every posible aspect.
Loved the movie and am addicted to the sound track. Would see it again. Both Bradley Cooper and Lady Gaga were amazing in it. The best part for me was the endearing love they had for each other. So convincing. Great job!
I think its the first movie that made me feel all the rages of Emotions...i got goosebumps , smiled bittersweet and where stunned by their Performances...Im thinking about going a second time alone, so i can cry out all what i have left, because last time I thought i would be too noizy for the other Cinema goers...now watch my tears drippin again for this really beautiful movie
I was very moved by this movie and cried when I was flooded with memories of my teen years of drugs and tragedy, which I had long suppressed at age 67. This movie had me fully engaged from beginning to end.
Wife and I went. Loved it. Sent our 17 year old the next day with her boyfriend. He teared up..... Very nearly a perfect movie. I’m so sick of special effects or super hero extravaganzas. This is what film needed.
This is the best movie in a long time. Bradley Cooper and Lady Gaga were phenomenal and their chemistry made me forget that I was watching a movie. I have seen the movie twice and will watch it again and again. Each time having a different emotion and meaning. If you have not watched A Star is Born yet you are missing out, and should go now before it is too late.
I saw this movie and LOVED it!!! The theatre was silent at the end... not a dry eye anywhere! I think people can relate to some aspect of this movie!! beautifully performed by Lady and Cooper!! I myself think it’s Oscar worthy!!
This is a fantastic movie, the characters are so believable and there is such chemistry between them, and this makes the story so very believable , it was so good that I went a second time a week later, and was still blown away, lady Gaga is an amazing actress and if this performance is anything to go by then I feel sure that this will be the first of many Movies for her
Me & my boyfriend found so much in this movie that reminded us of our relationship! We both shed a tear & left the theater in awe because all the stars were amazing in this romantic film! Love you gaga I'll always be a lil monster
I so enjoyed your video! I've seen "A Star Is Born" twice. The first time was completely devastating because I lost my husband 1 1/2 years ago to suicide. I have never cried so much during any film. Yet I had to watch it again to face the pain; it is difficult to explain. I plan to watch it a third time in the theater this week when it will be re-released for one week with 12 minutes of additional footage. And the soundtrack is amazing, very cathartic for me. Well done, Mr. Cooper and Lady Gaga. Well done, indeed!
Very rarely do I pay to see a movie more than once time in a theater. And honestly, most movies I wait to see on cable or pay-per-view. But I've paid to see a Star is Born three times since its release. It's one of those films that must be seen on a theater screen with a really great sound system in order to appreciate. I see all types of movies - action, horror, comedy, drama, animated - and this is without a doubt the best movie I've seen this year.
Already saw the movie twice and I cannot wait to see it again. This movie is like reading an amazing romance novel that you cannot forget. These characters and the story will stay with me for a very very long time!!!!! Can’t wait to see them win oscars
I absolutely loved this movie and I'm going to see it again tomorrow. Cried my eyes out at the end and still cry when i hear the song I'll Never Love Again
These behind the scene details are great, Thank you! An AMAZING film, I saw the Barbara Streisand version and was not sure this would hold up, but it was so captivating! Bradley Cooper is so talented, Lady Gaga, you have a new fan. Original tracks, amazing!
Just saw a Star is Born. I really loved this movie. Both Lady Gaga and Bradley Cooper were awesome. The music was riveting. I fell in Love with Lady Gaga all over again. She is a beautiful women and so very talented. I would love to meet her in person. I must confess, I wept several times during the movie... I will watch it again and again and again...
This was a great movie. Both of their performances are Oscar worthy. I also enjoyed the drag queens scenes and Lady Gagas music and all of the different styles. You will need a tissue for this one.
I think this was amazing movie I have ever seen. Their chemistry was spectacular. Definitely deserve best actor and actress and best movie Oscar award.
I saw the movie last night and as I write this comment am in tears thinking about it. Rarely does a movie stay with me once I’m out of the theatre. I cried with joy at Ally’s first performance on stage with Jackson, and then with grief later on. I didn’t feel my emotions were manipulated like many movies aim to do, the film beautifully connected the audience to our collective experience of love and loss. As much as I want to see it again I dread it, I felt his pain like it was my own and want desperately for there to be another outcome for him. Bottom line, Bradly Cooper and Lady Gaga have set the bar so high that I don’t believe another remake will come close to matching what this film gives us.
Great Movie. Best Star is Born yet. Best movie seen this year. Mesmerizing in every aspect. Could not take eyes off either Bradley or Lady Gaga. I'm 75 and ex-military. One of the best ever. Shocking for first time director and film actor.
They nailed it. Anyone who goes to the movies wants to feel some emotion, not any particular emotion but some emotion... that's the whole idea of watching a movie - to escape from life and to 'feel' something. Wow, if this movie does not leave you feeling something then, well, what can I say. From the opening scene to the finale this movie is emotion packed. You go through nearly them all, from the heartwarming to the envy, the embarrassment, the love, the joy, the anger to the saddness. I enjoyed the experience so much I have seen it on the big screen three times. I will purchase the soundtrack and the dvd when it comes out - this will go down as one of my all time favourites that I have to add to my very 'small' collection of "movies I would watch again".
This was an incredible movie! Thank you Jen for your insight info- it allowed me to further like the movie by understanding the production aspect of it and how personally invested Cooper & Gaga were.
I didn’t want to see this at first because I am such a huge fan of the Streisand/Kristofferson version, but I’m so glad I did. It didn’t take anything a way from my first love but added to my collection of favorites! Great movie, great performances!
I really appreciated the depth and beauty of the movie very much. It was refreshing to finally get a REAL movie out of Hollywood. Great Job Bradley & Steffini!
Went and saw Saturday Opening Weekend. So moved by every aspect of this film, I went back and saw it on Sunday. From the opening scene of Black Eyes to final Scene with Ally singing tribute to Jack, everything in this film...the Directing, Acting, Singing, Presence, Story line... was amazing and so well done. Makes me want to get into film and make emotional inspiring movies such as this one. Highly recommended!
Rob Jacks I was the same way! Saw it the Wednesday before it opened and loved it SO MUCH and could not get it out of my brain so I went and took my mom to see it with me a couple of days later, and I don’t think I’ve ever done this but I am going to see it one more time before it leaves the theatres... this is a movie best experienced at a theatre on a big screen...
John Smith are we nuts??? I have been considering going and seeing it one more time, I love it so much. I agree that it's best experienced at the theatre on the big screen.

I absolutely loved this film. I have already seen it twice. So impressed with both Bradley and Lady Gagas professionalism. I believe we will seem them both winning oscars for their strong, believable performances!
A Star is Born was fantastic! I knew Bradly had to have done a lot of vocal training to change his voice. Thanks for validating my suspicion. I heard an interview with Barbra Streisand where she said she recommended to Lady Gaga that they sing their songs live instead of the studio. Loved the movie and your behind the scenes insights. Thanks!
I saw it last week and loved it. They both did a great job - her first leading role and his directing debut really should get them some awards. I carried the feeling as if I was part of the story - thinking about it and some of the great tunes for days! Go see it if you haven't yet.

Christopher Gould me too!!
I totally agree! I wasn't a fan either, but now I find her an amazing and extraordinary singer and performer!
My girlfriend's daughter is very into Lady Gaga. As a musician I could hear her talent but was turned off by her flamboyance (I am older). This movie was incredible! Cooper and Lady Gaga were magical together and it showed both of their true beauty. The music is
incredible and I so much appreciate both their acting and musical efforts. So right about the lip sinking and their real performances
made the movie. See ya at the Oscars...
I loved every moment of it!! I’ve seen it many times now and I am ALWAYS moved to tears!!
Undeniable connection and chemistry. Love them. Just wow! 🔥🔥🔥
Definatly Oscar worthy! Cooper ,Gaga, best picture, Best soundtrack, Best cinematography! I might watch the Oscars this year! Bravo well done!
One of the best movies I have ever seen. Such an amazing duet. Wanting to go see it again.
I cried throughout the entire movie. 💕
Movie was amazing! Gaga and Bradley Cooper were spectacular in their performances.
I have watched this movie 5 times - FIVE: two back to back in the movie theater, and three times at home on Vudu. I listen to the music on repeat. And I cry - every single viewing and every time I listen to the soundtrack. Their chemistry together is electric. Best love story in decades. Can't believe Bradley Copper didn't get a nomination for Best Director :-(
I wish I had taken a box of tissues, I cried the last 15 minutes of the movie. One of the best movies I’ve seen recently.
I've never been so captivated by a performance. Gaga sent chills up my spine!
I've seen the movie for four times and watching it is much more heartbreaking than the previous time I've watched it. And the album, on loop. Also met some awesome people at my university with the same passion towards the movie and became friends.
After watching this movie weeks ago, and again, in it's encore version,
I am convinced that this is the
" be all to end all " versions !
Not likely to ever be re-made ever again !
Cooper and Gaga have truly captured that
" Genie in the bottle " magic, not likely to ever be caught with this much power, and emotion again !
Absolutely Loved the movie!! A packed full movie theatre we all left crying! Bring tissues!
Cried for hours after the ending. A+++++ movie
Such amazing talent merged to make this epic movie .
Easily one of the best films of the year! Such a beautiful film with a powerful message!
Loved the movie and am addicted to the sound track. Would see it again. Both Bradley Cooper and Lady Gaga were amazing in it. The best part for me was the endearing love they had for each other. So convincing. Great job!
Oscar worthy! The dog in the last scene gave it such a human touch which tugged at my heartstring and
I think its the first movie that made me feel all the rages of Emotions...i got goosebumps , smiled bittersweet and where stunned by their Performances...Im thinking about going a second time alone, so i can cry out all what i have left, because last time I thought i would be too noizy for the other Cinema goers...now watch my tears drippin again for this really beautiful movie
Shallow left me with tears in my eyes, goosebumps all over my body and a smile on my face. I am in awe.
I’ve seen this movie, and thought it was amazing, awesome. Very well done. All the cast were superb. This is an Oscar worthy film.
Loved it. Saw it twice. Both were amazing. They deserve Oscars!
I loved it so much. I’ve seen it three times. I think it’s so moving with incredible performances and amazing music.
I've seen the 2018 A Star is Born twice and I must say, it is even better the second time around. I caught more nuances. It is a must see Twice!
Absolutely loved it!! So good to see Gaga looking natural...she was fantastic
I saw this movie last night and tonight again. Absolutely riveting. I can't wait to own it!
I've been thinking about this film since seeing in on Sunday evening. I absolutely loved it, and would like to see it on the big screen again.
I think they all deserve oscar nods for their performances in this movie ,such a fantastic film
Love Bradley Cooper and Lady Gaga. This movie deserve many Oscars.
I loved it! It was so incredible! Lady Gaga is amazing and I expected her to wow me, but I was so impressed with Bradley Cooper that I can't stop thinking about it
Wonderful performance of Bradley Cooper, Lady Gaga, Sam Elliott, Lucas Nelson, and the rest of the crew.
Well directed, script, music.
I was absorbed into the story immediately. Great movie worth the watch
I saw it and loved it. It made smile and cry! It was wonderful. The chemistry between Bradley Cooper and Lady Gaga is amazing! I want to watch it again!
Was amazing, have seen it twice. Songs and emotions are sticking w me!
Simply put: Perfection!!!
Absolutely loved it!!! Seen it 3 times already, bought the cd & the vinyl record collector's set. Can't wait for it to come out on DVD/blu-ray!! Awesome performance and music! Cried in the end along with many people in the theatre!Loved it so much!!!💙💜❤👍👍👍
Yes I’ve watched every interview and listened to the soundtrack over and over ❤️❤️❤️ love these two , I’m definitely a Lady Gaga and Bradley Cooper fan for life
It's a masterpiece🔥. I love them, the songs, the story. It's unforgettable.
Honestly of the finest movies i have ever been to and i go to a lot and see a lot of movies. Moving well shot great story and finely acted
I watched it some days ago and loved it so much. I will definitely watch it at least a second and possibly a third time.
Beautiful. BC is a true genius.
Thanks!
That’s great, I hadn’t heard that. Going to watch the version with Barbra Streisand again . I think there’s an earlier version too.
I loved everything about this movie! The soundtrack, actors ,and the visuals. It’s for sure going to be a classic
I loved it. Beginning to end. The comic relief, the music, the character development. Such an epic film
We have already have seen it three times. Lady Gaga is fabulous. They truly are soul mates in the movie ❤️❤️❤️❤️🌹🌹🌹🌹
Absolutely mesmerizing ! I’ve seen it 3 times already !
I saw it last week and loved it. They both did a great job - her first leading role and his directing debut really should get them some awards. I carried the feeling as if I was part of the story - thinking about it and some of the great tunes for days! Go see it if you haven't yet.
Dare I say OSCAR worthy...It was REAL and Flawless Well Done Brad and Gaga....I can see awards for this work or art. Cheers
