McK I completely agree with you you loved this movie but there were some places where all of a sudden it felt like we skipped several months or years and had to catch up where most of the movie was perfect pace. It made absolutely no sense how ally showed up at noodles house and was such a unbelievable coincidence his brother appeared at her snl performance but otherwise phenomenal movie to me
@McK those are not so much directorial problems as editing problems... for which the director is also responsible in a way, sure, but I'd forgive that on someone who never did it before. He tried to put his flare, sometimes it worked, sometimes it didn't. I for one would have handled the ending differently, I think that's when the duo "not-quite-actress" and "not-quite-director" shows the most.

OH yeah and my dad is a man gold digger was guilt tripping me... and BRADLEYS and all his employees followed me around til i decided to cut my loses at working at a resturant and the stalks were still following me outisde. Then the flew me and my friend on a plane to arizona and my friend lost his job also.. This movie help me thru an abusive employment & come out of depression. Watch it alone & it gave me hope to have a purpose again. Never thought I’d be so impacted by these 2 actors as I was. Kudos Lady Gaga & Bradley Cooper. An Oscars nomination for both needs to happen!

I'm not a big fan of wigs, makeups, and all that stuff although her voice is one of the strongest and most brilliant I've ever heard. With her song "A million reasons " she stole my heart and I really started looking in to her. But, after I saw the movie she blew me away!. Not only her voice but seeing so natural. Omg, I really wish I could see her more often like that. She's so pretty, so talented, and with a great passion for helping others. What a great gift from heaven!!!
As a huge fan of the Kris Kristofferson/Barbara Streisand 3rd remake of A Star is Born in 1976, I was looking forward to seeing Bradley Cooper and Lady Gaga in the 4th version. Outstanding. Cooper is brilliant in his directorial debut, and Gaga has a voice that could make angels cry. I’m sure the movie is not for everyone, but any music lover will love it, along with the beautiful love story.

Omg! I was never a huge Gaga fan. That’s just because I didn’t know really anything about her. I am absolutely obsessed with her now! This movie is everything. The way it makes you feel is something no other movie has done to me. I am almost 40 years old and this movie touched my heart in ways it has never been touched! I have watched a hundred interviews with Gaga and Cooper, I have cried in each of them. The best interview to me has been on Beats 1 on Apple Music. I survived Breast cancer 6 years ago. Gaga talks about her best friend passing away of Breast cancer, she then goes and films I will never love again and cooper says this is the end of the movie. I can’t get enough of her. She is such a beautiful person on the inside. So caring and loving. This world needs so many more people just like her. I am honored to now know who she is and what she is about. I will never look at her as anything other than my hero!

I cried like a baby.. Honestly I have heard of Lagy Gaga of course but I could not name a song. I am 47 and its not really my type of music but I am a fan now. She has an amazing voice and is a brilliant actress. They have a fantastic chemistry that I have rarely seen in the tons of films I have watched. I watched with my teenage daughters the next day when i was back in town and they cried so hard I was a little shocked. Very powerful film. Well done guys.

I had my heart ripped off 7 times already watching the film this many times. Its a film you do not want to finish and besides the ending, still wanna go and see it again and again. One minus - not long enough. Bradley is at his best, Gaga surprised me like no other star before, so much that i am now amongst her biggest little monsters. The film deserves at least 8 Oscars including actor, actress, supporting actor, director, Film, music, 4 of the songs, cinematography, sound editing (all performances were shot live!). I have never watched a film that many times on a big screen.
If you’ve ever fell in love deeply and madly you will connect instantly. What a beautiful love affair that felt incredibly real. I’m convinced they could be truly in love in real life that is how convincing they are. Sonically it’s beautiful. Visually it’s beautiful. I’ve noticed that the movie doesn’t have a dense script. It is very much a story told visually and thru their music, and often the story is more about what goes unsaid.

Cooper did an awesome job directing this movie. He did so many things right. If u need to know more about alcoholism, or just plain wanna see Gaga light up the screen, this movie is for you.
What's funny is that I knew Dice was gonna be in this film, but totally forgot while watching. He was hardly recognizable as Ally's father, and I loved the relationship between those two. I also liked that Cooper brought in all those stand-up comics into the mix (Chappelle, Dice, Eddie Griffin, Luenell) and even Chappelle's daughter, Sanaa. For a third remake of A Star Is Born, it's definitely a crowd pleaser both musically and emotionally. I was unprepared for how much I enjoyed this rendition
