I just had to get my apartment fumigated because of a horrendous cockroach infestation (coming from the neighbors next door). It got to the point where I was waking up in the middle of the night because there would be a massive roach crawling across my face. Can't tell you how many times I would wake up in a panic beating myself senseless trying to fling bugs off my face and chest. Wouldn't be surprised if there's one in my brain right now.

The character Sabrina would sleep with pantyhose pulled on her head/over her face. She had a fear of spiders (I think it was) crawling into her ears (maybe her nose/mouth too I’m fuzzy on the details as I haven’t watched it in a while). If I ever had to deal with an infestation of any type of creepy crawly I’d be tempted to bust out the pantyhose until I either; moved, got rid of the pests, or burned the house down lol

My friend had a cockroach 🪳 crawl into her ear at night and it was banging on her eardrum so she had to go take it out at the hospital and they assigned her to student doctors and they thought let’s kill it first so they put water in her ear and it drowned but went even farther into her eardrum and had to have surgery to get it removed so yea I slept with headphones on for a whole month
Reminds me of the time I had a fly crawl onto and die on my ear drum. I will never forget the nightmare fuel sound of a bug crawling in my ear. Worst part? We spent almost a hundred dollars to pull a fruit fly out of my ear, A FRUIT FLY. I am glad that it didn't cause too much complication other than swelling though.
My son had a small junebug crawl deep inside his ear. He was screaming and I couldn't get it out so, I poured alcohol in his ear to kill the bug. He said it was just as painful while the doctor was removing it because it was so deep in his ear. He said it felt like it was chewing on his brain. We laugh about it now but I'm sure it was beyond awful. June bugs have such prickly legs.

This happened to me. A small beetle of some sort crawled into my ear. It went deep in and it felt like the thing was scratching its way into my brain. I had a good 10-20 people run in to help hearing my screams. Hurt so much I was convinced it made a hole somewhere. Best part, it didn’t die the entire time, kept moving and scratching till they took it out. They took me to our university medical centre and they couldn’t get it out and then took me to the hospital. Didn’t cost much though. Where I’m from it doesn’t cost much usually, plus I had this student pass discount thing. I had meds for a few weeks and couldn’t sleep, it constantly felt like something was crawling in my ear.
Supposedly, my family had a cockroach problem in my house when I was about 4, and we’d have to stick cotton balls in our ears every night to prevent them from crawling in our ears, and I used to stomp on them with my purple dress-up high heels in my kitchen. I don’t remember any of this but I still have the heels!
My neighbors had a flea problem coz their roof was leaking and it got big enough for pigeons to squeeze in and nest. I cannot tell you how horrifying it was to witness a flea infestation from an avian source. There have black tread marks on the ceiling and the pest control tech stated that those were millions of colonies of a avian fleas🤢🤢. My mom banned me from their home for an year till their house was properly fixed

Bugs of all sorts can burrow in a human, I saw a video on here of a guy who was with his girlfriend and some friends having drinks, he had been complaining of a flapping sound in his head, his girlfriend laid him down on the floor, she took long tweasers and pulled out a gypsy moth.

Ya, the only problem is anatomy. You have to bore through a plate of bone to get to your brain from the nasal cavity... Last I checked, cockroaches can't do that.
Cockroaches are fine, not that scary. But thinking about maggot infestation sends chills down my spine. I heard a case where a person's brain got devoured by those mags because of eating sushi which contained larvae. This gave me itchy feeling for many days because of fear.
I went in for my yearly check up, when my doctor went to check my ear, he found a tick latched to my ear. Not only was I grossed out and uncomfortable from this invasive thing. I was also terrified cuz ticks carry so many diseases and what I had gotten one of those(thank god I didn’t) but also cuz I didn’t really know how long it was there. I remember a week prior my ear itched like if never had before and I could make it stop and then it hurt for like 2 days but still I was never 100% sure My teacher from gradeschool got a bug stuck in her ear as well, which died but they were never able to remove it and it affected her hearing And these are the reason why I have a terrible fear of bugs in ears and basically anything or anyone touching my ears…
