Love you ❤ You've raised some really interesting points in these videos Kane and highlighted some systematical flaws. One actually is the chronic underfunding of social care and the impact that has on the NHS. Nurses, doctors, hospital beds are for the medically sick. But due to the colossal decline in social care (funding in social services, lack of workers in care, under paid staff etc) it means hospital beds are getting fuller of people deemed medically fit (those that tick the boxes) but who are in dire need of social care. Also, and I've said it for a long time, the fact that a person's mental health is vital in their recovery. We need services that help improve patients mental wellbeing, that encourages them to fight, positivity breeds positivity. The same with nutrition in hospital. There's more to getting better than just drugs. I'm incredibly proud of you for knowing yourself, knowing your body and being articulate enough to voice your own concerns to seek the help that you need. So many don't and can't. Keep fighting 💪🩷
Awh Kane, that must have been so difficult. You stuck it out for a long time in that mixed room though, I'm sure anyone would struggle (to even do a couple of days in there) but especially for you I can see why that would be triggering. I love that hat! 🤠🤩
You keep advocating for yourself 💪 it's a shame you've had to go through this hard patch to get your own room, but hopefully onwards and upwards now. Your looking much better, me and Mark are just catching up after a couple of days and we can really see the difference. Think you need to be a narrator after this because I love listening to you chatting 🤣 xx
