I used to love fishing that busted old pier... Used to climb up it and fish it. I was sitting on top a huge school of mullet during the run a couple years back when a big boy bull shark breached on em and almost into my kayak... Sad they knocked down that pier to build a new condo complex. Cool video!
More buildings, more pollution😔 There’s good flounder around there but who knows for how long. But man, you had quite the experience! And scary too! Tight lines!🎣
Not crazy at all! Those same people don’t realize that new water flows in and out everyday throughout the entire river. Some good fish can be found right in the urban core!🎣
My biggest redfish to date (36in) came from Downtown on artificial lures. Though i dnt fish that area often, it has been great to me. Tons of trout, tons of reds & great shrimping.
Lol unfortunately it’s like that most of the time here, particularly on an outgoing tide. Incoming tide brings cleaner water into the river, but the bottom is still muddy in most places🤦♂️
Thank you sir! Certain times of the year, it’s better. I was checking to see if the Spring flounder were around downtown. Prob totally missed them🤦♂️lol
As always great fishing broh(: you're holding out on us the viewers tho! Where do you get the magical fish amulate?! (: they just seem to follow you everywhere 😉🐟🐟🐟🐟
I’ve had it since august 2020. Paid like $17 off Amazon with bonus fish grippers. So far, so good. I especially like the netting material, doesn’t hurt the fish if you like to catch and release👍
Don’t mind at all. We put in at the downtown Duval County Public Schools office building on the south bank. Only thing is, you can’t park anywhere near the loading/unloading area during their work hours. You’ll have to load/unload quickly and go park in their general parking area away from their building. After hours or weekends, do whatever you’d like!🤙
Watching again. 🤣🦾
I know you line watching yourself slaying😂😂
excellent fishing, very good catches, beautiful specimens.
Thanks brother! I will subscribe your channel too!
@@VISUAL-LY Thank you brother I really appreciate it

Sweet drone shots! Flounder are so fun to catch when nothing else is biting. Just subbed!

Good hometown stuff!!! We got our first 23" flounder recently on a 4" live mullet. Catch em up!
Heck yeah!!💪💪 Would love to find a 23 incher! Bigger bait, bigger fish for sure!
Doing a number on the Flat Fish around J-Ville!!
Thanks man! Lol it was a disappointing outing though. Was hoping to find more and bigger ones. Not complaining though😅
