Fear Factory - Demo '91

Demo '91 is one of the first demos recorded by American industrial metal band Fear Factory. It features three songs later re-recorded for Concrete, with "Big God" and "Self-Immolation" being included on the band's debut album Soul of a New Machine, and "Soul Womb" being later re-recorded during the Obsolete era (along with another early track, "Concrete").

I feel that these old demos really give a coherent audio representation to the name "Fear Factory". So ominous, dark, suffocated, cold ,synthetic and detached. you can really feel buried inside that early 90s nightmarish lo-fi kind of ambience.

Damn that version of Self-Immolation really is something else. It's so fucking dark and the electronic drums keep pounding in your ears, it's fucking crazy.

This is clearly a different mix than what is found on my copy of Mechanize.

everything released with Mechanize was recorded with it, that includes their early songs that were brought back as bonus

Great Demo This And There Second Demo That Has 6 Songs. Rare and Wish I had them. I was a huge fan of these guys in the Early "90",s Seen them 4 Times From "92 to "97". Best Industrial Metal Band From The U.S. Back then. Dino And Burton Bell Meet Them Both Outside The Club In N.J. where I Am From Originally Until"2010". Incredible Stuff. Thanks For Uploading This.

this has a drum machine, the other one used live drums. reason being raymond was injured when this demo was being made.
