Nice one Jack I built something very similar but twice the size and I also added some metal chests underneath like the cheap snap on ones. It’s a great idea but the only thing I would say is I wish I’d mounted lockable casters underneath as the ones I have are the same as yours and although they work really well I’ve lost count of the number of times I’ve kicked tripped or stubbed my toe on them as they stick out quite a bit.
Thanks Dave! I haven't found that I have kicked them too much because the top of the bench sticks out about 100mm more than the base. It's a good point though and worth pointing out!
Nice build Jack. I can't I like those castors thou, they appear to stick out way to far. Hope yer Christmas is merry & all the best in the New Year. PS glad to hear about the dust collection in the works. Take care & stay safe.
Hi Jack, nice bench and as always well presented. I have a couple of questions or queries that are unrelated to your current build. 1. I was so impressed with your review of the 255TBL+ that I bought one (well tbh, hinted to my wife I really needed the upgrade and it has vanished from my Amazon Christmas list) I would like to know given the cost difference (a) how much better is the saw stop, (b) would you buy it over the Evo 255TBL+ with your own money (bias aside as I know you will) (c) is it overall a more accurate saw. 2. Will you do a review on sanders, I have seen tons of review vids and they all have differing opinions (I trust your honesty) I am torn between the Bosch GEX33 at £229.00 or the Makita BO0541 at £118.00. I have no interest in the Festool, Mirka stuff as I am not a pro and the inflated price will not benefit me in anyway or at least that is what I believe. My main current sander is a DeWalt D26453 which I feel is simply not very good, too noisy and vibrates too much (I always use 3m extract which I have found to be amazing despite some negative reviews) Need your help 😊😊

This looks great jack!! Different from most builds and looks like it suits your space perfectly!
Thanks man! I do love it now it’s done! Now to begin the cabinet builds…
Excellent video as always! Some excellent comedy bits as well (10:44 was my favourite!)
