@@DAoutdoors I'm sure they do, prior to Lady Anne owning Pendragon it was owned by Sir Hugh de Morville... one of the men who killed Thomas Beckett! Thanks for watching Dave, cheers Alistair 👍
That was great Alastair. What a lovely little castle. The make of the castle sounds Welsh - Pen (meaning top of a hill or mountain). So Dragons castle at the top of the hill. Just a thought 🤷🏻♂️
@@PhilipOlsen11 that's interesting Phil, I never thought of it like that. It's certainly pretty old , legend has it that Uther Pendragon (King Arthur's father had it built) Sir Hugh de Morville owned it in 1170 . He was one of the men who murdered Thomas Beckett. Cheers Alistair 👍
@@WainwrightWalksWiaLocalLad very interesting. Legend has it that Arthur was a Celtic king from either wales or Cornwall. Nice to let the mind wander 😁
@@PhilipOlsen11 my mind certainly wanders when I visit such places.... which is why I forgot to get the mics set up and to include some of the info!! Have a great day Phil 👍
