- Welcome back to Assassin's Creed Unity. Many of you knew I would be returning to this game eventually & here I am with some more stealth gameplay. I always enjoyed replaying these missions, finding new pathways & different ways to approach your targets has always been satisfying to me. I gotta reinstall this game . I just miss the French revolutionary setting . This game when it was patched was one of the best assassins creed games .

Do you know the reason they changed to RPG? After syndicate people started comparing it to witcher 3. That's why they changed it..and now people are bitching about the 'good old days'

That’s how it always is. People don’t want change. They want an improvement of what they already have.
All Ubisoft really had to do after Unity was take everything that was great about it and dial it up to 11. Give it a better story and of course, more polish. Then everyone would’ve of been happy.
@@veryyrude I simply fail to see why they made Assassin's Creed an RPG. Like I get it, people wanted something "different" and Odyssey would have been just fine if it had a different title (not AC). It'd be like taking The Division and putting Splinter Cell in front of it because sales and people want a new one.
No but for real, Ubisoft turned AC into an hack n slash... That I just don't get.
@@Soliye. they destroyed it man, in my opinion origins was the last traditional assassin's creed game after that odessy and Valhalla were just bad( not as games but as assassin's creed). Just to make some unnecessary people happy they made those unhappy those who made this series famous. Well, it's good that it's returning where it should and going back to its traditional path.
Original Arno's robe is dope as Altairs: minimalistic, classic.

@@lorankatoran8856 no those are his classic robes. They show up in the E3 trailers and the cover of the game. Because nobody actually likes default Arno. Classic is what’s most well known

I dont understand why Ubisoft cant just go on with this system. It is such a masterpiece. Imagine Valhalla with those animations and this combat. This straight story etc
I think what they should do is mix these mechanics into the new ones, cuz the new rpg format is really good and diverse, and honestly, i think the franchise wouldve already died if they still made the old format. But Unity its still a masterpiece when it comes to aesthetics and character movement, i think theyre in dire need to incorporate that into the new ones, cuz since origins the parkour is complete garbage
@@matheusmarcal9297 the character movement of the newer games is atrocious. Eivor always feels stiff as a rock and can't run for the love of Odin or any Norse God.
I mean this games story was utter garbage but in terms of gameplay they were headed in the right direction with unity + syndicate

I love the way you slow this game down. Walking everywhere and soaking in the atmosphere and subplots is not only a more believable way to infiltrate, but also looks amazing

Bro I've been playing ac unity for 2 weeks now and i am thoroughly enjoying it. Most fun I've had in any ac game. Too bad launch day sucked. Could have been one of the best.

I’m going to play this after I finish black flag. I recently finished Valhalla and wanted to see how the old games where. Not disappointed so far black flag is way better than Valhalla
@@illusioncuber9130 i played origins and odyssey. The newer games traded agility, smoothness and the actual assassin experience for more world to explore in a less fun way. The older games are way more fun

I hope Assassin's Creed goes back to this style of gameplay, Assassin's Creed is NOT an RPG. The best Assassin's Creed game I've played is Ghost of Tsushima, they perfected the combat, stealth, story, open world in one game.

@@hlinneyefc75 Not a fan of the Isu lore now. Making whole games just to explain lore isn't the way to go if you ask me. Old games were doing a great job of incorporating the Assassin and Templar war with ISU lore. Now it's just only ISU lore.

Hey Swifty, great video, good to see you play Unity till today. I completed 98% of Assassins Creed Unity, unfortunately if you complete the helix rift missions before the secondarys, a side mission will be blocked by a helix mission. I refurbished all the cafes, resolved all the puzzles, collected all the chests and badges, it is a good game, but I'm not going to restart the full game because of 2 missions that I can't do.
What are the missions?

AC Unity is under appreciated. Game is way better after the patches and I love the smoothness and parkour

We really took this game for granted all because of some bugs .It focussed on the two main gameplay mechanics that made us feel like assassins, parkour and realistic assassinations along with tools to help with that. Now all the assassins creed gameplay mechanics have little to do with assassins and is just pure all out combat.

You have to admit this is the best Assassin's Creed as far as gameplay. None of the other games in the series and compare. Not even the new ones.

This was the perfect Assassin Creed game for me. I didn't care about the bugs cause most of it was already fixed by now. This game really made players feels what's it like to be an assassin.

Really wish the new AC was similar to this. I mean I'm completely fine with the RPG mechanics but these new characters just aren't assassins. I want flexible and agile characters that can jump from building to building without stumbling and can kill an enemy within seconds. AC Valhalla and Odyssey are just slow men going full force with their might
I agree heavily with your last sentence.
Origins kills are slow too. When you get the hidden blade you have to go through a 5 second animation

Without all the glitches this is one of the better AC games. The gameplay, parkour and customization. The story is alright as well but AC games aren't known for breathktaking stories, more for spectacular moments. In my opinion instead of changing AC to an rpg they should've build of from Unity and Syndicate and improve future games in a similar style. Now it doesn't even feel like Assassins Creed.

Just bought it because it was on sale, never played this one but its always had the best parkour. I just beat Valhalla and am going back and playing origins and this and might find the courage to even beat odyssey even tho I hate it.

I want to play this bad but I know that if I do I won’t want to play Valhalla which I already haven’t been playing bc I’m honestly just tired of the shitty combat and parkour. Here’s to hoping we get a game like this again within the next couple years. It’s hopeless I know, but still.

Man how did you get your game to look so good. I have a rtx 3070 and my textures for buildings don't load in and look like mud huts. It makes it unplayable sometimes cause I can't see the groves to climb buildings.
This game still holds up, although it would be nice to see a remasterd version with ray tracing and real time reflections, that would be awesome to see on next gen consoles
Please no, did u see what Ubisoft did with A.C. 3? Or any other remastered other than far cry 3. They will just add new bugs and ruin the facial graphics for sure and possibly the graphics overall.
If Valhalla stealth was like this.. With that animations.. And the climbing free runs... Omg.. Hope AC Japan will be like this!! I like when runing and hit assassination is superb but

One thing that I always thought was weird in this game is the sound. It has a tubular aspect to it, like you're listening through a horn. It's unnatural, and I'm not sure what the intent was by the developers.
how to make sure your double assassinations work? im trying to do fast double assas... like you did in 1:20 (i think), but its not always done correctly.. especially when you turned off the hud. im tired to always sneak up behind them until they both turned red...lol
