- Welcome back to more Ghost of Tsushima. In this video I'll be showing the last two hideouts I've been saving. Now that I've cleared the map, there isn't much else to do besides free roam. So unless a NG+ or hideout resets get added to the game it'll be difficult to make the videos I want. So I might wait for a significant update to continue with this game, we'll see. The fact the ghost of Tsushima has more assassin mechanics than odyssey makes me what to know what happened in the Ubisoft studio
Yeah that game odyssey pisses me the fuck off I spent 60 bucks on it last year and this game comes out of no where and shits on the entire franchise lol. I LOVE this game. But I'm a softy for this culture, I find games and tv shows like this aesthetically pleasing

A long time ago, there were real samurai in Japan.
Now they are gone.
But you can find them in games, movies and books.
I hope there will be more games like this one made in the future.
Here, in India, we also wear white in funerals. Atleast we Hindus do. It's such a beautiful colour. Any other colour can blend in it. The purest that doesnt hide anything.
A game that respects the culture and history of a country while having an amazing character for a protagonist? Best thing to have in a game like this. I also hope more games GOT will be made in the future and now that there’s multiplayer coming to this game even MORE people can play this game but with friends this time.
Also I think white & blue makes a great combination together. That and blues my favorite color so I’m biased as hell so my bad😅
everybody loves ninjas! and yeah, i live in a place where it's snowy winter 2/3 of the year and it does feel like death when everything is frozen and you can die in one night if you don't have proper heating!!!...

Let's face the truth. Even if this game has copied some gameplay system and tactics from AC, this game is better than AC Odyssey 🚫🧢
why'd you say Odyssey specifically? if anything, Odyssey feels the furthest away from what this game is. Since Odyssey has damage sponge enemies due to the leveling system. I've had more fun with this game than every assassin's creed game I've played, so I'd say I like it better than all of them. I imagine Valhalla is more of the same.
@@seth.topalian5538 You're a casual AC gamer, I'm an AC fan. I have played all the series, but not only me every AC fan hates Odyssey. There's no hidden blade, parkour sucks, no Templars or Assassins, you only play as a mercenary.
That's how it works, AC revolutioned the parkour esque traversal, so it makes sense that follow up games would adapt the same mechanics

Throughout my time playing the campaign, I never used stealth, I always just challenged the Mongols to fight me, and fought them head on with honour. Then all the characters in the game started calling me the Ghost and said I have no honour, which I didn't understand since I was just fighting like any other samurai. That is my main critisism of this game. The story only makes sense if I fight dishonourably, but I never did, so it always confused me
then you must embrace "The ghost"
you already assassinate one swordsman at the beginning of the story so that is the defining point that makes the people around you call you the ghost and also you fell from a bridge and lived so you would still be looked as Ghost because it looked like the last samurai died and came back to life as a vengeful spirit to drive off the Mongol forces. But yea it sucks a little that it has no impact to the story if you dont use stealth and assassinations at all, but the game is called Ghost of Tsushima and you cant avoid becoming the Ghost 😄

People may not realize it, but this guy is a horror game. The music, the violence, the stealth jump scares. The Mongolians are living a nightmare.

Nice gameplay man! Absolutely loved this game, other devs really need to pay attention to how a stealth combat game is suppose to be like! Phenomenal Gameplay,graphics, and story=Masterpiece
as an indie game developer, its easy for a player to assume thats all there is to it when really everything is so much more complicated and harder than it may seem, you cant expect every game to be a masterpiece.

This was probably wanna of the greatest games I’ve ever played along side the last of us series.
You must have to replay these missions so many times to get the best “order” to complete the missions on video

The part where you got caught but got away and managed to slaughter the comander that was badass
Gotta admit I saw the “ronin” gameplay and I wasn’t really crazy impressed...after seeing this video I can safely say now this game is a masterpiece and a work of art...
It feels very depressing to know that the generals or the leaders in the various camps are found practising their swords for combat in the heaviest armor possible. Yet, they get beheaded unknowingly by the ghost.

I beat the he game today, I was both happy and sad. You know a game is good when you don't want it to end. What is there left to do? I had assumed that random mongol bases would pop up on the map but so far nothing.
Basically the only things you can do talk to Yuna and she says they should split up to kill the rest of the Mongols camps, you can do all the side activities and missions, and you can get hyped for the multiplayer coming in a few months. And since you finished if I may ask what ending did you choose?
@@damondgreen2239 I choose to give shimura a honorable death and now my ghost armor is white with a white mask which works out because I have a white horse now..btw were you as upset when you're horse died at the end of act 2 as I was? I had the black horse and I named him Kage. Man I was so salty when he died I didn't play for the rest of the day after that happened...lol

Right there with ya. I just killed the khan and literally all i have left to do is 2 lighthouses and beating Shimura. I’ve already found every fox den, hot tub, charm, etc and beaten every side quest and mongol camp. I’ll be super sad when it’s over because i’ll have nothing do do except collect some final hats and stuff that I don’t care about. Hoping for a NG+ mode soon!

Stealth is an okay option for me. If I wanna get through an area quick and silent. But I prefer the sword play. It’s just sooo good and fun. I replayed the story like 4 times and the last run was lethal+.

Not that “builds” matter so much in this game, but what your preferred charm setup with the ghost armor? It’s a pretty versatile set, could be built a few different ways.
I agree. "building" to fit archery, stealth, combat, defense, offense, healing, etc. is pretty fun in the game I found.
I like the charms that make the percentage ones more likely to happen, and when combining two of them, you're bound to poison some mongols with your arrows. I like to have extra kunai and have my wind chimes be able to poison goons. there's also some charms that make black powder bomb set others on fire and one where it will terrify your enemies even faster, healing even more health with the smoke bomb which i never used because you have so few of them. there's one where there's a 40% chance they'll stop looking for you, 3 shadow charms that make 10% slower detection, and staying invisible when killing from the grass.
you can mix and match to whatever fits your play style but i wish so darn much there was a load out feature where you wouldn't have to go through the huge selection of headbands/hats, masks and armors/dyes for swords and bows and charms before you hit a enemy camp. like do i wanna be stealthy this go around or charge in head on? should i find a vantage point and set traps with archer? or maybe do a healthy bit of all 3 or two to my liking? I cannot wait for legends it's gonna be good. and I hope for a new game plus because I don't want to 100% this game again so soon after 5 days of completing it.
Eclipse yes! And I love the ghost weapon charms, it’s hard to back to basic kunai/bell charms/powder bombs after using them. Sticky bombs, smoke bombs, and kunai imo don’t really need charms but the sticky bomb is still very powerful when you use the charm for it.
I’m doing a “mythic only” play through right now where I only use the mythic armors because they tend to be underutilized in my playthroughs, I really like the Sakai and Ghost armors. It’s been easy so far, I’m only in act 1 and don’t have any crazy charms yet but it doesn’t matter. Fully upgraded Tadayori armor can just shred groups and get headshot after headshot. Can’t wait to play with Gosaku in act 2 and Kensei I’m act 3

The combat moves are so...RUTHLESSS!!! He literally beheaded 2 enemies. My neck hurts now..
dont worry, its basically impossible in real life, the only way you can behead someone with a blade is if they have no neck protection and with the help of gravity. beheading takes alot more force than you would think.
30s and I already love it. Been playing AC games since last year and this game has so much AC that I'm dying to play it. Really wish Sony would allow the devs(or hire a second studio Idk) to do the PC port.

I wish they would bring out a survival mode, lethal difficulty, so when you die you lose everything and you go back to the beginning. It would make the game last, and you would have to think before you took on a task or mission, and I for one love a challenge. And just incase Sucker punch does see this comment, 🙏 please, please do this.

@@kaisersloth5524 There's "zero" consequences for dieing and you get to a point, early on in the game where you feel overpowered, and dare I say this, it gets a bit boring, and I think it's because you lose that element of danger. Having that fear of losing everything constantly" would make it far more exciting.

One thing bothers me, the first update removed the takedown, now the stitch in the throat is the only thing close to it, the other movements are simply gone, that's a shame, but otherwise it's still my favorite game, hope the sucker punch continues Updates are working ubd to add that back.
The update didn't remove the takedown when you upgrade your small sword it makes your stealth kills faster and shows less takedowns
Ham Burgler yea that’s one of my only gripes with the game. The more you upgrade the tanto, the less stealth kill animations you get. They could easily fix this in an update so I’m not too worried

I think they should have multiple weapons including Ninja weapons like nunchaku, Bo staff, sai daggers, and suriken blades
I think they should have a ghost armor that looks and functions like a Shinobi were he wears a Wakizashi instead of a katana across his back and unsheeths it by pulling it over his shoulder and his tanto where it normally is...
That function were you can sheeth and unsheeth your katana should have more significance... like when you're katana is sheeth then you should be able to do hand to hand combat that you can switch to like the different stances like Karate, Aikido, and jujitsu with hand to hand stealth kills that range from choke holds to breaking the neck of his enemies....
Then have sequences in the game where jin is separated from his weapons and has to not only use stealth but hand to hand combat to beat his enemies...

The only thing I don't like about this game is the weird grappling hook animation, it like connects in midair way too quickly. Idk. Everything else is amazing

I did it the other day, I was like "Arrows disappear when they hit you, enemies, or objects... they don't show them sticking out of the victim". But then I was like who gives a fuck about that lol
