My wife and I just bought the same bus without the under storage. I don't think I'm going to do a roof raise seeing how my wife and I are a little on the short side. It's amazing how fast you're moving along with the little army of helpers. Looking forward to your future videos and your Way of doing things on this conversion. I am only two hours north of you so maybe one day I will get to see your bus.
+tommydscott we will probably leave here when we are finished with the conversion. Contact us again when it looks like we are leaving and we can hookup.
Yes, please check Transcend Existence. Also Chris & G Travels just did a raise with the help of Jim In Colorado who did one on his bus. I don't have Jim's channel name, but Chris & G Travel will likely have a link back to it.
If you not passed the point of no return, you may be able to use the air actuated door closer with an RV type door. It might be possible operate it via remote and include a lock as well.
how many days or hours do you think it took to raise the roof? from beginning to the very end? removing rivets, windows etc. to the final enclosed roof?
Thanks for still posting videos every other day even tough you are very busy with the conversion. I noticed that sometimes you add some music in the videos in between talking, I think the music is a little to loud, I usually have to turn the volume down every time the music comes and back up when is done. I wonder if is just me or some other people noticed that.
You guys are moving right along looking good... got a question in one of your responses to one of the comments ,I don't know if that was a typo or you're actually going to rename the bus in your response you said... God news bus... is that a new name change or just a typo LOL.... either way I thought it was kind of cool
Are u guys going yo live in the new bus are the old one I'm not saying is old I don't know if it is old but I love your videos so much I wish I was there wish u fun and HAPPY HOLIDAY!!!!!! 😋😜😜☺☺

Jim's channel is "Life is a Joy"
Like what you have done, when is the next video going to be coming out, want to see what has been done on the roof raising project.
+GMZ there are more recent videos that have been posted since this one.
If you want to check out (life is a joy) they raised there roof on there bus conversion.
You might want to watch the video from ( Trancendence ) on how he raised his bus roof. Especially episode #9....

Doing a bus conversion is more like being a surgeon, cut up and reassemble!
lol...true...😂
You can leave the bus yellow!
Watch ( life is a joy ) UA-cam channel he does bus conversions and he does a good job you may see something you like.
I dont understand why your raising the roof ? advantages apposed to time and money ?
The reasons are many BUT mainly because we have to do triple bunks for the kids and we need the hight.
Aww got ya ! TY
I suspect you will find that the increased headroom will aid in giving a sense of enhanced spaciousness.
For sure!
