I saw that vídeo and brought tears to muito eyes...I used to ride my bike, cause I was a triathlete. But I got a desease and must stop. Now, I try to come back...the video inspires me

And to all the people bitching and moaning about who wasn't represented...stop it! I saw the video and saw cyclists, i saw people doing what they love, what i love, what we as cyclist love. The bikes, the camaraderie, the scenery, the excitmemt, the triumph, the hard work, the accomplishment. Stop looking for problems where there are none. Get out, ride and free your mind.

I started in my early 20's taking a loan out to get my 1st real bike(85 Cannondale R1000 I believe) and believe it or not I still have it. Been with me thru many many many of RR's,trio's and epic rides!!!
I have updated dated my bikes throughout the years and I no longer race or keep stats but I still LOVE riding, I think even more now. This video brings back a lot of great memories, just GO RIDE!!!!

The essence of cycling right there, those sunrises and sunsets. Sent out on a 60 mile training ride at 6am will never forget the mist and sunrise.

I really liked the video! Wish there were more out there like it. Being a black male, I understand certain groups wanting to be more represented. But honestly, I feel that the essence of cycling was portrayed by this video. I especially related to the part where the guy was sitting on the bed just about to either get up and ride, or lay back down. I ride during the week before work getting up at 4:00 am three times per week. For some reason the times that struggle getting up, results in my best rides.
What time do you go to bed?
Try to be in bed by 9:00-10:00 pm
It's nice to hear from another morning rider! Sometimes I just want to go back to bed. Also it's nice to see the black community is riding too
I'm also a morning rider, up at 4am 5-6 times a week all the way to work.

damn .. that was lifting. thanks for the Motivation , inspiration . At 0:10 & 0:40 that is my route every day to work , 4am ..boyle heights into Hollywood spinnin the wheels on my classic steel frame down tube shiftin road bike killer machine, burnin fat no oil. The mornin cycle is up hills coverin all the huffs and puffs and on the way back home ~ smooooth ride down hill forgettin everythin .

I agree, Strava really makes things gold! On RunKeeper I was always stuck with an app that needed so much attention; compared to when I tried Strava, just press 'Start' and it will do its thing. A tool that works allows the rider to focus on the ride, methinks.

My parents bought me this old heavy mountain bike when I was 9 years old. I used to ride it whenever I could. Grew up, and grew old for it.. left it in the garage to dust.
Started running some years ago, started swimming a year ago and I never looked back. But lately I've been keen to start cycling again.. possibly going for a triathlon one day.
The new S-Works Venge video, the Tour de France every day on my tv, and Garmin Fenix watch and edge videos really helped to fuel things up again.
And this week I watched this video.. my God what a cherry on the cake! So motivational and inspiring! That fuel burned into this massive flame!
Can't wait to go live abroad, own a bike of my dreams and ride on roads like these.. pure freedom!

I was going to say how beautiful this is but I feel bad now because I was not moved to complain about the lack of women (only one that I noticed). But I'm an old, middle class white guy with college degrees (who uses Strava, loves to ride his bike and thought this was a beautiful bit of video), so I am acculturated to not be overly upset by stuff like that -- I'll die soon and you'll be rid of me. The next time Strava makes a film like this, I hope they come to the DFW TX area and ride the group rides and meet all the wicked strong women, browns, blacks and yellows -- um, people -- riding on the streets and trails and having a great time TOGETHER (and yes, there are some of us white people there too, young and old). Cycling is inclusive by it's very nature.
As I tell all my non-cycling friends: come #RideWithUs.
