I think it's kind of funny, ironic and sad that a butcher doesn't understand the health benefits of eating fatty meat. He had to be schooled by that keto ally in the line.

So i was late to the party and watched your last BBBE challenge long after you finished it… however it did inspire me to try it and I’ve been BBBE for 8 days now ( not knowing you guys were doing the challenge again! ) I’ve gotta say as someone who just finished watching your BBBE videos from a year ago and is now seeing this video, you both look even healthier than you did back then!

Please, please, please - more food prep ideas!!! And preferably without fancy equipment. I’m so sick of just ground beef, bacon and eggs every day and even my home cooked steaks seem bland. Restaurant steak is wonderful, but how to do it at home? Anyway, this video was great! More, please. Lol

Create a little funnel at one end of the foil while still in the pan, not perfect funnel but it works, while the bacon grease is still hot or warm, pour into a Pyrex bowl wide enough to receive the grease without spilling over. Let cool, then put in frig or freeze in appropriate freezer container to use later. Guys awesome tutorial, gives me new ideas of meat combo's, in addition to using eggs in different ways. Super...and enjoyable trip to the grocery store.

Kroger has Simple Truth no sugar added bacon for $5.79. Most of the time, it is sliced a little thicker than the other brands. We will go through a package a day. I buy 5-6 packages at a time. 🥓🥓🥓🥓🥓 I have bought Aldi's no sugar bacon too. Both are really good.

I was at Aldi today. I found Mary’s Gone crackers (my husband loves them) and 3 new flavors of coffee infused LaCroix!
I took the idea for cooking eggs in the oven and put a small egg poacher thing in the air fryer 300 degrees for 9 minutes to perfect jammy eggs! Also Aldi now has Italian style Egglife wraps. I bought them because I haven’t perfected my version of egg white crepes that are Italian-seasoned.

I make a up of nespresso in the first hour that I’m awake - either a fatty coffee or one with collagen. I make sure to sit on the deck, in the quiet, and enjoy my coffee.
Love Aldi’s ground bison and their ground lamb. I get it when it’s on sale.

Joe and Rachel for the win again! What a huge help this is for those of us giving Triple B&E a go this month. Loved the shopping tour, easy meal prep/recipes and lighthearted chats. I can't imagine ever getting tired of you two, so stay the course.
BTW Joe, I made lamb balls wrapped in bacon last night for the first time! They were awesome (just kept hearing Rachel say "Balls" lol). I am also pleasantly shocked that I've resisted daily weigh-ins on my scale so far (Day 7 for me). Eye opening challenge!

@@bobbismiley5900 Carnivore includes fish, cheese, milk....products of animals. Personally, I BBBE is not the ideal carnivore diet because you get so much out of salmon, sardines, oysters and it's nice to break up the beef monotony. Many Carnivore eat chicken wings or thighs as well. Carnivore is an animal diet, not a beef diet. BBBE is just an extreme version that would drive many Carnivore away from the diet because of that monotony.

Suggestion for your coffee, you might want just strong brewed, similar to your normal coffee-add only just a raw egg to 4 oz coffee. If collagen is allowed, add a couple servings. I also do this with some additional unflavored whey isolate, but it’s very good without. I might add another oz or two of hot coffee. More variety always helps. I enjoyed your meal prep!

I watched an interesting video by Dr. Robert Cywes (low carb doc, pro carnivore) who made the point that if you don't eat organ meat you are missing out on vitamin C and manganese.
I do carnivore and get my vitamin C by adding True Lemon or True Lime powder (no sugar....just dehydrated lemon or lime juice) to sparkling water. I love the tart taste...cheaper and easier than a squeeze of fresh....and so nice it has a health benefit as well. And not addicting.... nice counterpoint to all the fatty meat. FYI can get the manganese from black tea or pecans or bivalve shellfish (clams, oysters, mussels).

    • @literatious308

True lemon & lime are delicious over fish but have negligible Vitamin C.
Package nutrition facts doesn't even mention it & you know marketing would be all over that if it existed, as a health benefit.

The purple package of SIMMS Beef Biltong is like the gray package without the smoke. It’s good.

I want to start keto I have been watching your videos and I love them. I have gained a total of 25 lbs after menopause 8years ago . I always get compliments people say I look 40yrs but I’m 53yrs.
I saw a 3 yr old video, I think it was dated 3 years ago and you said you weighed 47lbs. I’m thinking of starting but so afraid of gaining more weight any suggestions ? How much butter can I use as to not go over my calories ? Also you guys don’t age. I want this way of eating to slow down aging at the celular level and physical level as well. ❤

You're on the wrong channel for that. There are plenty of Dr.'s, nutritionists, etc. on UA-cam that break down the science and macros of eating Carnivore or Keto. You can get hard science from them. DrKenDBerryMD goes through all of this on his channel. Calories is not a big focus, the right foods are. Don't confuse high fat with calories, either. There are tons of examples of people losing weight while eating an entire stick of butter a day. The entire point is to get your body back to it's natural state, burning fat for energy instead of carbs.

I have an Egglife order coming today so I will be a little late to the challenge but going to try two weeks (our anniversary is the 27th). We buy local farm fresh eggs for $3/doz.!! We buy 7 dozen every 2-3 weeks.

I live in Ireland and I have never seen "pasture raised" label on any chicken or box of eggs in any shop. It either doesn't say anything or it is "free range" , "barn eggs" or "corn fed". So frustrating😔

Maybe where you live animals are farmed differently than in the US. We are VERY industrial here. Not so good for nutrition.

Pork belly is the best and in most cases cleaner than bacon if you can’t get bacon without any additives etc. I make sure to cut into bit size put Redmonds all over it and fry in a cast iron or air fryer. Yum
