The Motion Pro REV2 Throttle Kit is a perfect allows the rider to choose which throttle rate best suits them and their individual riding style. The stock throttle typically takes a big twist to get it all the way open, the REV2 can shorten that making it faster and easier to achieve full throttle operation.
    Product Features:
Note: For use with stock throttle body. Stock reel is 33.8mm.
The most advanced variable-rate throttle in the world
Innovative reel changing system lets you tailor the throttle rate to riding conditions and rider preference
Ultra-compact housing with snap-together elbows make it easy to install and change reels
New sleek design requires less handlebar space for lever clearance and throttle position
Use smaller reels for slower throttle rate and larger reels for faster throttle rate
Included cam reel provides progressive throttle response preferred by some riders
Unique reel design allows fast reel changes
Cable boot keeps dirt and dust out for reliable and smooth operation
Billet aluminum inline cable adjusters for easy installation and adjustment
Lower section of cables use 5mm housing with PTFE liner for reduced friction, increased routing flexibility and lighter weight
Upper section of cables use 6mm housing to provide solid support of adjusters
    Simple to install and maintain
Kit includes Rev2 throttle assembly with throttle tube, Motion Pro Revolver black vinyl cables, Motion Pro RoadControl grips and Rev2 Street cam reel
Standard interchangeable reels 35mm, 40mm, 45mm, 50mm are also included
    Designed by Motion Pro
Rev2 Kits have cables specifically designed for fitment on specific models, but the Rev2 throttle itself is not model specific. Therefore, in some situations, the Rev2 kit may not be a direct bolt on installation due to space limitations on the stock handlebar. In some installations, it may be necessary to move other control components on the stock handlebar, shorten the Rev2 throttle tube and grip, install longer aftermarket handlebars, or possibly all of the above. It is up to the end user to determine the best method for fitment on their motorcycle, and ensure that the Rev2 kit is installed properly and with the correct clearances for safe operation. Installation should be done by a qualified mechanic and carefully checked for proper function. Improper installation could result in great bodily injury or death.

Brian, i was able to use the Motion Pro enhanced wiring start stop switch (Kawasaki A) that i purchased from you for my 2016 Ninja 300/ Z300, i was able to install it on my 2019 Kawasaki Ninja 400 ABS (Indonesian made model),
perfect fit, and was able to check the plug and wiring color code coordination you gave is exactly correct, plugged it in an did a function test on the kill switch, front brake switch, and start switch. Thank you for the videos and just wanted to share this
for anyone upgrading their Ninja 400 2018-2020 model, check the plug is easy, the picture of the plug for the motion pro (Kawasaki A) fits perfectly part # 11-0103 on the STG store.
Thanks Brian for the video as always and just wanted to share, if there was anyone out there that was a little intimidated about cutting into their wiring harness, or just wanted a plug and play option. I still recommend checking the male pug on the Kawasaki 400, and ensure it looks like the match to the female plug for the Kawasaki A motion harness. The plug is accessible without taking off the fairing if you have someone around with small hands it is on the right side of the bike turn the handlebars to the left and should be able to see if the plug is a match, if you carefully pull back the rubbery cover of the stock pluck you can even check the wiring color which is exactly as Brian described in the video

Thanks for taking the time to share this. Motion Pro has been slowly introducing direct fit switches for the popular models slowly but surely. We will update our listing to make this note. This will make the install much easier for anyone installing the Rev2 Throttle Kit. - Van

Hey Van. I was watching Max ride on motoamerica. You must be proud. That kid has some major talent. Just a quick question; do you think maxima chain guard would be an adequate cable lube? I think I read something on the packaging stating it is suitable for cables as well

Hey Brian. Old video, but I'm wondering if you're still using the 50 cam or if it's been changed out since? Usually I would go for the orange progressive on other bikes so I wanted to double check before installing the large reel.

With this bike we are still using the shortest cam with a Norton Soft Pull throttle spring. Here is a link to that:

New comment, old video. Slowly I’m turning my Ninja 400 into a track weapon but I have a question:
I did the R6 throttle mod for the Ninja 400 (you did a video on it before), what is the difference between the R6 mod and the motion pro kit (most aggressive cam)?
Is it significant or just kind of noticeable? I’m pondering if this mod is worth the time and price to do it if I already had the R6 mod in it.

There is a pretty big difference between the 2. The Motion Pro Rev 2 will have a much shorter throw than the R6 tube does. This is a worthwhile addition to a track prepped Ninja 400 IMO. - Van

You don’t lube the handle bar first before installing the throttle tube?

I use an old phillips screwdriver to put a thin coating of lube on the inside of the throttle tube. - Van

Bro i got a ninja zx636 2019. The dam throttle doesnt release back fully. There is always a 2 mm forced release. And them my rpm drops. This is causing my idle speed to increase. Please let me know how i can fix this.
