I have owned the Sandero Stepway 900t . I did about 30 000km in 5 months due to that it was super light on feul. I stayed in Musina and hone is Durban, driving home was so cheap.
I owned two Renault cars, the first was the Megane IV 1.6 Dynamique and never had any issues with it at all. And then I wanted something sportier and still went for a Megane, this time I got a 2017 Megane IV GT Turbo, this is the best (and most underrated) car I've owned so far. It had the performance and comfort I never expected. No issues with it either and I'm looking to go for the Megane RS Lux next 😅 I know, but I love this car!
@@lesediseemela9856 the only issue I had in the ownership of the Megane GT was the battery going flat and wouldn't start, but I took it to the dealership and warranty covered it, it cost about R4000 because it's a special battery for cars with Start/Stop but my car was fine within a day. Oh, and there was one other issue I remember, the windows stopped working at some point and it turned out to be an electrical fault caused by water ingress/moisture inside the doors, which can happen after a couple years of ownership. I researched the issue and found that it's common with the 2016-2019 Megane models, but then I took the car to the dealership and it was also sorted within 2 days - also covered by warranty. I never had to wait too long for repairs and never paid a cent. Thanks to the warranty, maintenance plan and great dealership that always took good care of me.

I used to own a Renault Clio, and the issue that it had was electric issues. The car was short-circuiting, and the window switches used to be the problem. I ended up not replacing the window switches and relying on the AC until I got rid of the car. Besides that, it is a good brand.
I had a 2019 Duster and regret selling it. It's very reliable and fuel efficient. Only reason I sold it was because it had 2 airbags. This vehicle is good when pulling a trailer as well.
I have a 2011 2nd hand Sandero that is turning 10 years in June, and I have never had any issues with it. I've been doing my own service for the past 3 years. The car just needs to be well maintained and it will keep going.
My uncle had Sandero Stepway. It was good. He moved to Duster. We loved it so much we fought for it. I'm on the Clio IV, Dynamique for 2 years now. Very much perfect.
I respect that engine so much. They fitted it in the Merc A180CDi back in 2013. The cost of that car was R352K full spec. For that price today you get a Nissan Micra.
So you proceed to grind, drill or stamp without ear protection? I'd rather have peace of mind in knowing my passengers (Magogo, kids, friends sometimes) have a curtain airbag should something hit from the side. They do save lives in a lot of scenarios. Thanks Muzi 🙏 Been looking out for a Duster review for a long time. Your channel’s definitely the best in SA, no comparison IMO. Just one thing: on the topic of airbags, with respect I think you are completely wrong. Watch enough crash test videos and see what a difference multiple airbags make. Especially in side-on collisions. I think something like 30% of fatalities are from t-bone style impacts. Your head can hit the shell of the car and the head of the person next to you, even in a relatively low-speed situation. You really want side air bags in that situation if possible.

Can any one with a Duster 4x4 share its challenges if you keep it for too long. Mine is 3 years…. Just crying because dealership wants R6,5 k for brakes which is steep I think as such I am thinking of selling the car before it’s too expensive to keep. Other thing is the back seat is hard for long distance according to my children. But it’s way better than the previous shape. Still very confused to be honest If this will last me 10 years. I am good in taking care of cars… my children are using a 20 & 17 years old Japanese to travel long distances hence I ask if Duster can stand such long time Otherwise I will miss the technology and 4x4 capability. I disagree with you there MJ 😄😅, you once did a review on a 2022 Hyundai Kona N whereby when you were doing the interior you said "I don't know why Hyundai likes throwing cheap plastic on cars that deserve to be premium, aku plastic kuyafiwa la, almost everything you see on the dash is plastic" 😂😂😂😂
4:48 keep the revs below 3000rpm its a diesel all the torque and power is betwen 1.5 and 3000 rpm
Could you do VW Caravelle 6.1
"...compact SUV to buy of you stay in Eastern Cape..." I fetl that cos I'm from there.
Waiting for that high mileage German car. Cannot wait.

I want this car for my mother
i didn't like SUVs until I had to drive in the rural villages
I owned a Renault Megan 2013 coupe 1.6 dynamique it didn't have a problem till I was supposed to change my broken starter due to wiring I had to wait a whole month from Renault to get the starter n they delivered a wrong starter and had to wait another month 💔
i had a reanualt duster dynamique its a very good car and is reallly reliable , it is has good fuel consumption , the starter tends to ware out after 4 years
Is it expensive to replace?
@@MuziSambo yes
My dad drove a 2019 Duster 1.6 And it wasn't fuel efficient
Please go to Volvo’s… we’ve been waiting for more than 2 years now🥺
Not eastern cape catching some shots 🤣🤣🤣
Gang fight...stray bullets 🙆♀️😂
Can any one with a Duster 4x4 share its challenges if you keep it for too long. Mine is 3 years…. Just crying because dealership wants R6,5 k for brakes which is steep I think as such I am thinking of selling the car before it’s too expensive to keep. Other thing is the back seat is hard for long distance according to my children. But it’s way better than the previous shape. Still very confused to be honest If this will last me 10 years. I am good in taking care of cars… my children are using a 20 & 17 years old Japanese to travel long distances hence I ask if Duster can stand such long time
Otherwise I will miss the technology and 4x4 capability. Fuel economy, that diesel is excellent
