With less kw and less nm with a lazy cvt transmission and boring interior? Do u really think it's worth it?
I can understand that the Renault Captur has good specs but that price tag is a bit heavy. Putting the price aside this car really is a wonderful package. All the features that it has are features that you'll get in more expensive cars, like the blind spot monitoring and the ambient lighting. I also like the powertrain figures of the car. I thought it would share the same powertrain with the Clio which would've been a bad idea. Though I can't believe that it doesn't deal well with bumps. Not being able to take bumps well is kind of concerning, considering some of our roads. Overall though I think Ntombizodwa is a fantastic car. She must just work on her pricing.

If its R500k or more we automatically look at Haval and Cherry haii manufacturers aren't realising they are slowly but surely losing to Haval and Cherry🤦

Uses same engine as in the A Class, slightly detuned here. Damn the price. But also has the best interior quality in its class

Nice Review. I've tested this Car in April and it drove lekker. I don't know why they gave it so much power for a girly car. To be honest with that Price i'd get Low mileage Volvo V40 R-design.

WAY Too pricey, there are better cars. Renault is being too ambitius in their pricing. Look at Peugeot and Citroen in SA, over priced and out competed by all brands new and old

I'll buy cherry tiggo 7 and still get the change
There’s a lot of options at this price point , it will be interesting to see how the Captur does against its rivals.
The tiggo 7 will not give you a fuel consumption of 6,7L, 113KW & 270nm. It's a large vehicle with a polo engine.

Besides the cherry tiggo 4 pro is giving box vibes the captur is sleek beautiful with a stunning sloping roofline so that 500k is worth it

At 500k, I'd probably get a Polo Life manual or the Clio intens. Then use the change to upgrade to maintainance plans and extent the warranties. The only major difference this car has from the Clio is the engine and it's transmission. Great review Bongz. Now looking forward to the XUV700 review. 🤝🏾
It's more powerful than its German and Japanese competitors while having the same or better specs(before extras).
I know power isn't everything, but you owning a top spec Taigo with only 85kw can get boring very quickly.
A corolla cross is not exactly a competitor but even with that, the top spec only gets you 90kw..
And both if these cars mentioned are over 500k

Yhis is a beautiful car, my only problem when I drove it is her gear liver reverse button you can easily put it on reverse while parking. They should have pu P on top the reverse
