I enjoy listening to Swoop Wagler sing “One More Time Let Me Tell You about Jesus”. Recently I read in the Bible, Mark 2, where Jesus heals a paralyzed man who is lowered from a hole in the roof. Between those 2 things, Swoop Wagler and Mark 2, it inspired me to write some lyrics. And I’m not even a song writer. I used the tune from “One More Time Let Me Tell You About Jesus”. I didn’t write a chorus because I couldn’t think of any words to fit in a chorus. So, I just wrote down Musical Interlude. Like I said, I’m not a song writer. Let me know what you think of this.
A Paralyzed Man
His name isn’t written in the Gospel book of Mark.
He was just called a paralyzed man.
His friends carried him to Jesus, cause they knew he would be healed.
Their faith was as great as it could be.
They carried him to the house, where Jesus was staying.
It was so crowded they could not enter in.
So they climbed up on the roof and cut a hole in it somehow.
They lowered that man to Jesus feet.

Jesus told the man “Son, your sins are forgiven.
Get up, take you mat, and walk”.
So he did what Jesus told him, took his mat and he walked home.
It was a miracle they all said.

It's the music and the harmony but mostly it's the words to this beautiful song! I'm learning the acoustic guitar and I also want to pick up banjo five string and playing sing for the Lord, I think by playing and singing I can bring people together and I can share the gospel with people I can share the truth of the Lord with people with folks and that's what God has put on my heart to be an encourager and I want to play and I want to sing and I want to encourage and I want to talk to people about Jesus, some might start off with learning really well how to play and maybe go to a small Bible study and lead worship and start with that as far as my plane and singing and sharing the Lord goes. That's what I need to do for the rest of my life that the Lord has me here on Earth just share the word with people play folk songs play worship songs play country worship oh yeah that's how to do it.
