My dear mother, a diehard follower of Christ, passed away 2days ago(02/16/2021). In her final hours when we were all thinking it might happen today or tomorrow, this song came to mind. I sent the full lyrics to all my siblings and forwarded the video to them as well. Everyone was happy I brought this song their way at this difficult time. Instead of sadness and heavy hearts everyone was grateful for the life that mother lived.
I and my family are really blessed that we have this heaven-centric melody to comfort us at this time. I’m really grateful to the Ruppes and Gaither Vocal Band for this masterpiece!

Having lived a large portion of my life as a Hospice Nurse, I can verify that Angels are often in the room when a dear Christian is going home. I have been VERY aware of their presence. This is a beautiful funeral song as it's so true that when we take our last breath here we take our first breath in heaven!

My mama was told she had cancer n was in the hospital. She had a test n was tired. So my sister n I left for abit. When we come back, she was up on one elbow, n all excited about this guy that was in her room. She said, "Did you see him? When you walked in, he had to of went past you." She told us, she was in a deep sleep n this guy woke her up. Called her by name. He told her, it wasn't time yet but he would be back for her. My sister n I thought it was the heavy drugs she was on. 2 days later she passed. Later my sister n I believe it was her angel waiting to take to Heaven. Only she saw him, he was coming back for her. N he did. I miss my mama. She was 64

When my husband was dying in 2009, he saw angels all around the room waiting to take him home. We could not see them, but the expression on his face was so beautiful, happy tears streaming down his cheeks as he tried to tell us of them, there was no doubt. He was saved at age 35, was an alcoholic but never touched a drop after that night. He was SO happy at the thought of going to be with the One who saved him! Much as we miss him, that is such a comfort to us all - and we will see him again when we see OUR Savior. I LOVE this song!

When my Father ,Mother and my younger brother left me to our village when I got angry and they build a house for my brother at that time I was with my wife 2 son and 2 daughter I was so sorry I made them leave our house and after a couple of months I regret what I did and went to them beg them and ask to forgive me and to come back but they told me they are afraid to come back and stay with me again and told me they forgive me for my wrong doing but wouldn't come back and I came back with my family but am full of regret and couldn't stay thinking of them and wanted them to come back home, they use to come but never spent night they always left to our village and at that time I found out this song while listening gospel songs I even sent this song to my Father who I love most and suddenly COVID-19 kills many people and before my Father came back home they all got this sickness and save my mother and brother but unluckily I couldn't save my lovely Father he left for heaven and whenever I hear this song am in full of tear...

I have listened to this song for years & absolutely love it but I lost my son, age 28, in a tragic UTV accident in December 2020. I know angels carried him to heaven & I will see him again soon. I wish i knew this song back in 2021 when my mum was passing on...we were around her bedside the whole time. I believe angels were also there amongst us, waiting to carry her to the place she always believes she'll be when she's gone..where she'll meet the Saviour she had always sang about when she was alive.. I can only imagine. ❤
This was what my sis n law said to me while I held her in my arms before she went to be with our Heavenly Father for Eternity even the Drs couldn't believe the Beautiful smile that was on her face once she passed.
