Ulhas Kashalkar: Raag Dhanashree

Pt. Ulhas Kashalkar's performance of Raag Dhanashree enthralled the audience at the 4th Annual Diwali Concert Series curated and organized by First Edition Arts on Sunday 1st November 2015.
He is accompanied by Suresh Talwalkar on Tabla, Sudhir Nayak on Harmonium, Aditya Khandwe and Pandurang Deokar on Tanpura.

This is bhimpalas ang ka dhanashree.. with both Nishads.. recently heard a good commentary about it..

prasad sawant _..No...Bheempalasi ang Dhanashree has only komal gandhaar...and it has Only shuddha gandhaar! Pt. Jasraj ji and Maniram ji used to sing this Dhanyasi....This raag has a famous song of Lata Ji..'Abke na Saawan Barse'
