@@oitthegroit1297 HI! Thanks a lot for your comment! I really appreciate it! So for the wrong warp glitch, we can see the video description of this video: ua-cam.com/video/dgtY0G0LXEM/v-deo.html. Basically, you need infinite time to be able to go through pipes 254 times. The game has an counter with 256 values (from 0 to 255). After 254 passages, if you get Yoshi's Wing, the game warps you somewhere. Here, collecting Yoshi's Wing counts as 2 passages. So now the counter is 254 + 2 = 256 and it goes back to 0. So this state is identical as if Mario come from the Overworld Map. Now the game looks at the level as it was the overworld map... If you place a block a specific position, the game loads another level. Doing this, we can access 'levels' that are not accessible otherwise, like Star World Warp tiles... I will do a video soon on wrong warp glitch, without the need to do the powerup incrementation glitch. Thanks a lot and Cheers!
@@TheUnintendedGamer Nice! And thanks for the explanation! There are a bunch of beta test levels that can't be accessed normally. Could you, in theory, access them using the wrong warp glitch or using an ACE? Edit: here is a video of them: ua-cam.com/video/KkoAojvxTog/v-deo.html (Also, don't forget to bring an orb to these levels, as they have no goalpost.)
@@oitthegroit1297 Hi Oit! Thanks for the link to the videos. There, they used a game genie to access hidden level within SMW. You are right, it would be cool to have access to these levels and trigger a normal exit using the Orb. However, I do not known how to do that without the game genie (which I have NOT try). Nevertheless, I can access the TEST level, and trigger an normal exit, see this video: ua-cam.com/video/stPPy5wUyx8/v-deo.html). This is the so-called 102nd exit and corresponds to the normal exit of the Star World #6 tile, upward to the Star World 5 level. The Star World Warp #6 is shown as the TEST level. Anyway, it would be great to be able to access the other level without a game genie... Tnanks again and cheers!
@The Unintended Gamer: In the last ACE when you collect the Super mushroom did you press the same combination of button as the 1-up ACE or you press nothing when the Super mushroom hit mario.
Hi SuperNickid! For the last ACE, when I collect the super mushroom for the item box, I DON'T press any input. Off course, as shown in the video, before collecting the mushroom, you have to scroll the screen right and then left to place Yoshi at the good position in relation with the position of the P-Switch. After I press Select to release the Mushroom and wait! Thanks a lot for the question and Cheers!
Hello everybody! The setup I show here will work only on the Japanese version of SMW. If you play SMW on a virtual console, then see this video from SuperNickid ua-cam.com/video/_Q2SdDPL3YU/v-deo.html. He perform ACE on the Nintendo Switch Virtual Console to get infinite time on the US version. He's setup is different from mine, as all the ACEs are done with Mario at Powerup Status 5. Also, Nick's method requires 4 ACEs while the method presented here (developed by Seth Bling) needs 3 ACEs. Have fun ACEing!
@The Unitended Gamer: I don't know if it his just a diffrence with the virtual console but when I'm in certain boss battle if it goes under glitch00 it goes to 999 so the infinity time does not always work in boss battle but the infinity time will work again just fine on the next level or whatever level you pick next.
Hi SuperNickid! Thanks for the info. I didn't know that. I never tried this infinite time ACE against a boss. Next time I perform the ACE, I could do some boss fight to see. Cheers!
@@TheUnintendedGamer: The Boss that I see this happen that if it goes under Glitch00 it goes back to 999, his Ludwing, I know about super mario world sometimes 1sprite need to used info from other sprite, when they are not in used, since a scrip done with ACE his not considered a script run by a sprit, Ludwing can overwrite are script temporarily, untill the Boss fight his done. I think the Rynoh Boss fight would do that to, because of the spining platform, but I could not go and check to make sure because non of the fortress are short enough just to go see again, if it happens, and revisiting broken castle only work in the US version, in Japanese you can't revisit broken castle.
@@SuperNickid Hi SuperNickid! Thanks for the info. I didn't know that you could revisite broken castle in the US version. I guess you could use this feature to perform unintended secret exit in some Castles... Cheers!
@@TheUnintendedGamer : It would do the same as doing secret exit on a one exit, it will just clear the next one, and would block you from progressing that path, unless it his done in the foress of illusion forthress, which would be unused exist, but in the US version if you replace unused exit it will still lock on 96 exit, it will just be lock on 96 exit while still remaining intended exit to be done. Their could be an ACE exclusive to Japanese version to allow pressing L and R together to re-enter broken castle, but it would be way to complicated for an ACE, and would take way to long, and after saving and reseting, you would have to do that complicated ACE again everytime for the other broken castle, so doing ACE to allow this in Japanese version his not a good idea.
For everyone, that wants to do this, the method above will not work in Virtual console the nintendo switch version his considered virtual console as well as SNES mini classic edition including the Japan version of he SNES mini, I will post on how to do it for Virtual console when I got the time and feel better, it was still Sethbling that found a verison that works on Virtual console. Also a warning for people that want to attempt this on a real console real Super Nintendo, or a real Super Famicom, their his a risk that it might damage your console, or game cartridge or both when it his done wrong, and it his really easy to do it wrong because of pixel perfect, and perfect timing with the power-incrementation glitch, the only think confirmed so far his corrupt the save file, and it also does corrupt save file in the Virtual console version also, but it never corrupt save state. I'm talking about since when they test on a computer what the computer virus does to a computer, they run their computer on a Rom version of itself so the computer virus will not damage the real computer. A real console when you do ACE does binary switches move for real inside the console or inside the cartridge, while on a virtual console, it run fake binary switch to make the change, kind of like you play VR, and while you play VR your character in VR can play VR games.
