This is the best and most comprehensive step 2 prep video I've come across. I've dug through the entire internet trying to look for an explanation like this. I will be using your Step 2 prep plan. Thanks for this video!
"Thank you for creating such a detailed and informative video on preparation guidelines for USMLE Step 2! The structured approach, practical tips, and emphasis on high-yield topics make it incredibly helpful for anyone aiming to ace this exam. Your effort in breaking down complex concepts and providing a clear study strategy is truly commendable. Keep up the great work-this is a valuable resource for all USMLE aspirants!"
Hi Manik, amazing video, one thing always pops up ,is not all students can get those skyrocket scores, for sure, because scores depends not only IQ /strategy/ Knowledge/wish. It also depends on your circumstances. Could you please make a video for someone who is aiming for 225-240.Basic plan for basic scores. Thank you
I'm in A2, why am I even watching these 😭. I don't even know if I'll be able to clear my entry test exam. But InshAllah one day I'll clear my USMLE exam.
Hello Manik. I'd love it if you could make a video on the electives/observerships that you did. Also, a video of the timeline that you followed for USMLE as an IMG.
Hey manik, could you maybe make a video/blog post/anything else listing all the algorithms that we need to memorize for step 2ck? I've been going through amboss and the sheer number of algorithms is overwhelming.
@@manikmadaan Yes obviously!😀 it's just differs from person to person, just like as a neet ug aspirant, I love speeding cars and football from my childhood, in these thing I find my happiness most, just like you'll find your happiness in your fav things, hobbies! Dear Manik, thank you for another great video. Your channel is fantastic! I have a question, if you have some time to answer. The Tzanki deck you used is the one from years ago? I didn’t find a new one. Also, you did not review flashcards everyday for step 2 and just read the entire list once? Thank you so much!
Manik thank you so much for your valuable information you are a fantastic person. I have an important question about Divine, would you recommend doing one/some of his courses? they are pretty expensive but I'm debating whether it would bring a benefit or if his podcasts are just enough. Thank you so much I hope you see this!
It is definitely helping. You're definitely helping. I am grateful for your great videos and your rich experience in this journey is definitely helping me. Warm grateful wishes always 💐. Thank you.
Wow Step 1 and Step 2 and Step 3 is like walking up steps and it's harder if you skip a step because you know steps are one after the other and you have to step on one before stepping on the next one.
manik bhaiyya can you make a video on your journey from class 10th till now here in USA? we are really interested in it, because also you've told in that video of your NEET PG rank that you was an average student so how you became such a brilliant student?
Hi Manik! Not sure if you will get to read this but I'm currently studying for my Step 2 CK and had a quick question about your UWorld method of tutor, timed, and random. I understand why timed and random, as well as the explanation for Tutor mode but I'm having trouble seeing how you use the Tutor mode while doing timed test. Do you read the whole explanation after each question, or are you just seeing if your answer is correct, or is it a combination of briefly skimming the explanation and moving on? THANK YOU SO MUCH for the information! It has been extremely helpful!
Hey Manik thank you so soooo much for these amazing tips, ur an angel seriously ❤ Quick question regarding random vs systematic approach. I've always had it confused and im finding a hard time focusing with random, however, i've seen some tutors say that if ur foundation isnt the best or if ur doubting whether ur foundation is good then systematic is the way to go since its about learning. So what do u think of this for someone who just managed an average score and is aiming for a 260 as an IMG. Maybe leaving around 60 Qs of each system to do random final run. If you or anyone with experience can help i would appreciate it, I hope u got the main idea of my question. Much love bro 🌺
Thank you so much for posting this video. This is super helpful. Would you say that even though the exam was vague that it was doable? If you don’t necessarily know what the question is talking about exactly can you use the test taking skills you mentioned to still get it down to two answer choices and still choose the right answer? Also what did you use to study for the ethics? I keep hearing a lot about Amboss
It's doable for sure. Test-Taking skills will help you eliminate answer choices using the question stems via clue and pattern recognition. However this takes a lot of practice, so do a lot of questions.
Thank you so much for responding. I do have one last question, you spoke about the algorithms, are those charts in UW something we should memorize or will reading through the explanation to understand the why behind the concept more important than just memorizing random facts? This exam seems like it’s way beyond memorizing and more of applying conceptual knowledge and using test taking strategies.

Great video! Out of curiosity, what resources did you use to study for your shelf exams? I've been using QBanks like UWorld and Kaplan, but I am worried that exhausting those options for clinical shelf exams will leave me with less to do in the months leading up to my Step 2 CK. Is there another, more efficient use of my time than what I am doing? Thanks for your help and insight!
