Simple Newton's laws. The momentum changes are added considering the vectors implied. A vertical downwards force added with a horizontal outwards force equals a diagonal force in bot downward and outward direction. In other words, when a semispike, and a hit with normal angle, somehow connects at the same time, the opponent will be launched downwards and in the same direction of the hit with normal angle (in this case outwards).
More specifically, she missed the counter swing because Chrom was still spinning, but the hurtbox for her arm had shifted out just far enough that she was caught as Chrom went downwards. It's why most people who play a character with a counter understand why Arsen's is just a giant triangle

I don't believe the first clip is an infinite but rather Fox is holding the direction toward banjo and entering the hit box from behind! I've seen this before with other characters with rapid jabs.
To anyone that may get hit by a multi jab from behind an opponent like in the beginning of the video. DI TOWARDS where the opponent is looking, if you try to DI the opposite way it will only push into the jab more (What likely happened in this video)
