Diagnosing a lift gate module issue 2017 Ford Explorer

This is my first UA-cam video so pardon the amateur filming and editing of it. The issues experienced were: remote, button on lift gate, and button on dash would not get the lift gate to work. It also showed door ajar warning. I TESTED THE FUSE AND FOUND NO ISSUES. When reversing, the lines on the camera disappeared too. Hope this video helps as I could not find another video on UA-cam with this same issue on this model year.

A really fast “cheat code” is to simply disconnect the battery and allow the entire system to reset; it worked for our explorer without having to take apart anything.

currently having the same issue with my wife's car(same year, make and model). went through the steps you posted but did not yield the same results. did not get the lines back on the reverse screen, remote, and other button under steering wheel doesn't work either still. so my question is, the ford tech said that it would be the module that is the issue, correct?

Good day am working on 2018 Ford explorer XLT model the lift gate do open and closes with remote and also with the button inside .... but sometimes when the trunk ajar light displays the trunk won't open.....scanned it show lost communication with rear gate module U0230....the fuses are ok.
