Street musician duo playing outside of Haight Ashbury Music store sometime in the early 90's. This appeared on the MLC Productions VHS only release 'No Batch Required'.
First saw them playing and passing the hat on Market Street, in the late Seventies or early Eighties, if I recall correctly, They had a tape for sale, which I bought and played and played until I no longer had a tape player in the house.
Deborah Newbury Probably a bit later than that, since Craig and Pete were likely in Maine at that time - when I met Craig in 1990 he was only... 23? 24? Might be confusing with somebody else? 🙂
I think that was called "American Popular Music - 1909 to 1929" or something very close. "Tiddley Winks", "Old Green River" are the two songs I still can name. I was heartbroken when I lost that tape
That's Marty Eggers on bass too...You can still catch them both in the Bay Area - wonderful musicians!
