I'm really excited to finally finish this animatic, it took me two weeks at most to do it. I really hope you like it.
I want to clarify some points about the animatic:
1) I know that Mr. Reyes is played by the same actor that plays Jeremy's father, but I did not want to make them equal, so ... Yes, Mr. Reyes seems like a nerd.
2) I had never drawn the squip. At first I tried to make him look like the actor who plays him, then Keanu Reeves, but I did not like any design (in my style) so I tried it until it was the one they see there. Probably later on I will change the design.
3) I hate myself for how Jeremy is looking different in the scene where he screams, but I did my best to change the expressions without it looking different. I'm sorry about that.
4) I do not know if there should be a warning for epileptic people for the final part.
5) This is based on a fic that I am writing, so yes, it is spoiler and is adapted to that story.
6) The small scenes that are seen when Jeremy and Michael are dancing are memories of their childhood. (When they met in kindergarten, when tattoos were made).

When the squid was in control of Michael, his eyes went red. At a few points, such as him about to kiss Jeremy and confessing his love, his eyes are normal again. That means he might’ve said those things at free will. I don’t know, just a smol observation I made.
New plot of the musical:
Jeremy was originally crushing on Christian but then after becoming popular and eventually getting closer to her and then realizing that it was Michael along who he wanted to be with so in the end he seen how badly he hurt Michael and everyone else and then this happened.
Yeah and I think in ''voices in my head" christine and michael swap roles. So like she's giving him advice about michael instead of the other way around

Christine is a wonderful sweet and cute queen of the stage! She deserves love! 💕 To be honest, at first I was going to add her to the squippeds, but then it occurred to me to make it clear that she called the ambulance to treat everyone. She's a heroin~

I have a theory about the Squip and how much it controls you affects your eyes. If your eyes are 100% the colour of the Squip (i.e Michael saying he feels amazing), you are completely controlled by it. If only your pupils and irises are red, it means that you are controlled, but are aware of what’s going on. Or it could mean you are being given instructions to follow, and you agree (i.e the whole reprise of Guy that I’d Kinda be Into). If your eyes are devoid of your Squip colour, it means you are completely under control and are making your own choices (i.e Michael saying I love you).
Yooooo can we talk about the level of respect Jeremy had for Micheal? He wanted to kiss Micheal, but didn't because it wasn't actually Micheal he'd be kissing. Jeremy put away his desire so his friend can live the way he wants to

I can't describe how much I freaking love and am fascinated by this idea. First off, your art is INCREDIBLE! The expressions alone made me cry and the SMOOTHNESS!!! Massive kudos to you!
This has really got me thinking about what if the ending of BMC had been like this. I like to think Jeremy spent the whole musical pining after Christine, and then when THIS happens he realises all along it was Michael he was in love with. Michael, who'd loved Jeremy for years, after being squipped lost his insecurities and told Jeremy how he feels. Jeremy gives him the Mountain Dew Red, BOOM everything is fixed, and Michael and Jeremy get together. I like to think that Jeremy and Christine stay friends as well, cos I really love her character and don't want her to be left out

Amazing job, you captured the emotions so well. The dead look in jeremy's eyes when he gave michael the mt dew red, the pure joy of being together in the flashbacks, the showing of how much he cares and how concerned he is for michael by trying to hurry with the mt dew red to give it to michael rather than save himself. Just beautifully done!
