In the song "Sync Up" from the broadway version of the musical Squip said that Jake participates in sports and clubs, like archery,
to avoid the feeling that he’ll never be good enough. But he quits archery just for Christine.
I know. It would be cool if both of those were in the same canon, but they're not. In this version, Jake is just a shallow asshole who thought Christine was hot. The Broadway version is a guy who insecure and tries to appear cool, but in reality, is just insecure and scared.

This style is so beautiful I’m s h o o k. The character design is Peak and the animation is like water color come to life. I just *chef kiss voice* mwah! Love the perspective of Jeremy literally stepping outside of himself while considering taking the upgrade, its a great representation of a sort of dissociation from his former self and how the squip has fully taken over, like Jeremy isn’t /Jeremy/ anymore. #letmichaelblep2018 Also your Christine is so beautiful I’m lesbians with her

I know I'm very late but-
I just like the detail when Squip shows Jeremy how if he gets with Brooke and Christine with Jake she'll end up falling for him and we see on the drawing, that Christine detaches herself from Jake to go towards Jeremy and when Jeremy does the same, Brooke actually stays next to him showing she does like him.
Not only it emphasizes on Jake not really loving Christine that much, but it also shows how Jeremy really hurt Brooke's feelings for doing that.

it’s obvious that christine and rich both like each other, and the fact that she kinda just leaves jake at the end cuz “oh jeremy you saved me uwu i’m gonna fall for you now” seems sucky to me. obviously richjake is **mwah** top quality, but i don’t like that that’s how the musical ends. that’s really my only complaint about this musical, and this song kinda proves my point
Wait can you tell me who ends up with who at the end? Like I know Jeremy ends up with Christine at the end but that’s basically it. I’ve listened to the whole soundtrack but was kind of confused since they didn’t include any of the in-between dialogue

Are you also overlooking the fact that she clearly told Jeremy “no” that night or the writers somehow pulled out of their ass that christine wouldn’t correct Jake when he was wrong about calling her Juliet
Jake literally had sex with Chloe at the party before rich burned it down- Christine was a rebound to Jake, I think it’s slightly deeper than what you’re making it out to be

I just came here to say the thumbnail for your video looks like a Y/A novel and it's without a doubt the cutest thing I've ever seen in my life. The animatic was great as well, but the thumbnail was what drew me to it because it was just so simplistic and adorable.
