These are two totally different applications and use cases, sketchup is more for building / home design work, blender better for small objects, each can complement each other.
@@michaeljarcher thanks for your opinion but i think you are wrong when you say different use cases and for small object . i use sketchup and blender to make may architectural project and i do the same stuff with sketchup and blender but i render with cycles or evee whitch is a bonus for blender. for me the place where sketchup is better than blender is with the LayOut for sketchup part and the lurning curve . you should definitly check what blender is capabol of you also have free stuff like archimesh archipack blender kit geometrie node .....you can do things in blender that you cannot do in sketchup in term of sige and complexity and time (the modeling tools in blender are more developped ) . for me really Sketchup is just like a small part of blender .it will be nice for me to be able to sync blender and LayOut for sketchup... Thats my honest opinion Thanks
