I'm old enough to remember the original Dear Abby had a question on the correct way to hang toilet paper, and it started a $hit storm, (pun intended), of responses from across the globe. I don't remember if it was ever really settled.
No matter how many times you show me how to measure a tree fall, I am always blown away. There is a right way and a wrong way to do everything. Put the TP on the right way like he showed you.
@PatMac, 100% on point with the TP, loved the joke. Interesting recovery rigging for the golf cart. Please give more details. It doesn't look like you used a recovery ring or snatch block. I'd like to add a new technique to my recovery playbook.

The men in my family put the toilet paper roll on correctly. The women all do it backwards.
I saw something recently that said, "beards are good, mullets are bad" in how TP should be placed.
I feel like it should be pointed out that "backwards" *can* be the right way, if and only if you have a cat.

I always put toilet paper on backwards. Makes it easy for one handed tears.
The only exceptions for backwards TP is cats and toddlers, otherwise you’re spot on
My bengal cat doesn’t care, he rips chunks out of the roll.
This is why I live in a cold climate. The spiders die. The snakes die or leave.

Putting toilet paper on backwards makes sense if you have a cat, because it keeps them from unrolling it. If you don't have a cat, you're just crazy.
