Based on this clip there was no way for the bus driver to know who the police were after. Sophia Bush never said anything when she got on the bus. She only flashed her badge and sat down in the back away from the kidnapper. Telling the police over the phone, "I see him" while looking in her rearview mirror was odd. Then she gave it away when she kept looking back @ the kidnapper while he was still on the bus. Calling the bus driver brilliant is a stretch.
Its a show... It's tv... And it was pretty horrible. A bus breaks down and a backup bus is there in under 2 minutes? Nevermind the non-stop looking at the guy. But to the original statement, it's acting...it's tv...it's not real...
That is very true! Like literally the end of season 1 she took the kids and left. I wish they would have worked it out cause u could tell they could have done something else with that storyline
Props to Diego for being as brave as he was. He had a gun to his head at just 8 years old and he did a really good job handling himself during the ordeal.
Fact they went no verbal and only cell phone for the officer on the bus show exactly the way to handle it. Imagine she chatting away the guy would easily known so thing up
It's one thing to say things with your face while not speaking. What makes Sophia Bush such an amazing, incredible, iconic actor is she can actually manage to communicate emotionally and thoughtfully while having an absolutely blank look on her face. It's as if she is allowing her character to be the surrogate for the audience watching... something the show is now missing without her there. It's evident in all her roles, especially her portrayal of Brooke Davis on One Tree Hill, but her 4 years of playing Erin Lindsay on Chicago PD really show how much she had refined her acting abilities and the fact she was not by certain cast members nor the producers shown the respect that, really, everyone should show each other is sadly unfortunate. Sophia Bush is truly a treasure and a jewel as an actress, and her immense physical beauty should not be held against her, for she has shown both the willingness to work within this as well as the aptitude to mess it up and get gritty or even "dirty" when necessary. Whether portraying a heroine, villainess, someone misunderstood or an ambiguous character who you can't quite figure out until the very end of whatever movie or TV episode she is in, Sophia Bush is becoming (if she hasn't already become) the standout thespian of her generation -- the "It Woman" of NOW. This clip is only one of many times she has proven (and continues to prove) this. Unbelievable...and yet, there she is, proving her talent again and again and again. Gorgeous, intelligent, poised, and seemingly ageless to boot. Hollywood is not worthy of her, it seems
That should happen in real life when things go wrong. There are people who could do things that matches the situation in good times where the outcome favours those who are on the rescue mission. When you have 2 or 3 guys in the group with intuitive and lateral thinking almost 80 percent of the mission is accomplished.
Miss Lindsey, always love to watch her and the show back then, but not anymore, just not the same without her, her character fits in with the show, thank you video peoples for sharing. Always appreciate you guys, just what I wanted to see.
I wonder was Antonio allowed to bring down hell like hank did when his son was killed. He put a guys face on a hot stove shot a guy in the leg and then killed the killer of his kid buryed him and got away with it Hank Sargent of a cop unit. With 200k in cash In his safe at home and old school mob buddies on call to clean up bodies. They never Showed how that body was moved but I remember hank telling the mob guy his friend he might need a favor. I know it’s a show but it shows what some are allowed to get away with. No wonder we have marches and riots going on everytime the cops make a mistake. I couldn’t even imagine being a minority person having to live in a city like a Chicago where they have cops who’ve done those exact kinda things.. There was cop way back in the 90’s known for using jumper cables on people that really happened. I love Mr Wolf creator of the show for shining a light on things that may take place in law enforcement agencies all over the country.
You are right, Voight being like a horrible person brings a reality to the show. Usually the Captain/Sargent are absolute saints which can not be true at all
You obviously watch too much TV and believe too much of what you see on TV. Maybe take a break from the tube for a week or so and get back in touch with reality…
If you want to protest cops, protest actual injustices by real cops. Don't get mad because of what a fictional TV cop did because of his son. And how is killing the killer of a child the same as injustice against minorities?
My mom had a Durango like that, but it was a dark green. It sadly died on us in the parking lot of a grocery store after a long run with losing some parts
I recognized the music from the beginning of this scene as what they were using to advertise Chicago PD through the official NBC channel at the end. I wish I could find the full tune.
This was all the way back in season 1, I’m pretty sure it’s like the second or third episode of that season, I could be wrong but definitely in one of the first 8 episodes of season 1
aren't problems with the clutch easier to mimic than enginetrouble? no smoke, no wierd sounds besides the engine overrevving (wich is easily faked), and without a clutch your bus isn't going anywhere.
If I was the bus driver and they were telling me to pretend that there was something wrong with the bus I would’ve whispered to the people and said “I better be getting a good amount of money for doing this for you guys😑”
why the heck didnt she bop him over the head when she was walking down the aisle? and why was she making small talk with the bus driver letting him see her face? wtd😂😂😂
when Adam got in that other bus and rammed the bus Lindsay and the druglord and Diego was on to causing all of them to fall cause the drug lord had a gun to Diego's head then Lindsay grabs Diego shielding him as the drug lord fires some shots Antonio ends up coming inside the bus shooting and killing the drug lord Diego ends up being safe n sound
What would have happened if at 7:50 the little boy just backed away from Erin and chose to stay with the drug lord? How would things have gone differently?

for real though, she was scared but got a grip of the situation and play it cool

You would hear the air brakes. Pss pss every time the brake is depressed
Bro it’s acting 🤣 not a real situation. You’re acting like she was under a lot of stress and played it cool 😂
I love how the police managed to Calmly and safely get everyone off the bus before everything went into usual chaos.
I know right like it wasn't scripted at all

@@sierrarichardson330 The only thing that coulda been done was Antonio finding a safer job that doesn’t involve kidnappings & shootings
Erin Lindsey was awesome grabbing Diego and saving from the kidnapper. You were awesome Erin. I absolutely love you ❤❤
The part at about 8:05 got me teary-eyed. Shouldn't have watched this on my mini-break at work where people could see me 🤦🏼♀️
I disagree, this is the exact kind of thing you should watch on a mini-break at work.
Boring
The way thee bus driver just made up a problem quickly to save. The kid is so amazing❤
Good job everybody for saving Antonio’s son Diego and the bus driver did an amazing job by helping the police officers.❤️❤️❤️
Props to Diego for being as brave as he was. He had a gun to his head at just 8 years old and he did a really good job handling himself during the ordeal.
It's a TV show........
OUR COUNTRY JAMAICA NEEDS INTELLIGENT AND PROFESSIONAL OFFICER LIKE THESE AND WELL TRAINED LADYS I RATE THE MOVE 100% GREAT
TV show bit yeah I agree
Maybe this episode they were professional. I love the show but they torture suspects and/or break the law in most of the episodes.
U must rem this a just a movie everywhere have good and dem cops koool

The bus driver did a great job also that police lady thank you for sharing really enjoyed this one 👍❤️

Isn’t it amazing that when the cops see Antonio’s son with a criminal they get into position immediately. They get ready to take him down.
I love this show great acting even the kid
