you probably dont care but if you are stoned like me during the covid times then you can stream pretty much all of the new series on instaflixxer. I've been watching with my brother lately =)
I'm so glad there's a footage of what John talked about in his act. Awesome performance. John Pinette has helped me get through some sad times. I would burst out laughing watching his stand-up when nothing else made me laugh. R.I.P.
Ditto. I saw him live at the Stress Factory in New Bruns. NJ and met him. What a love! I wish I could have seen him in this but thank goodness for all his standup here. He is missed more than I can say.
"I'm in a Dress! I have no eyebrows! I play a woman eight shows a week! I'm going to start getting my Period! What if I get pregnant, where am I going to put a baby?"
*Looking back at the conductor and orchestra* "We're ready now!" Buahahaha! What a talent! Pinette was a man who could make you laugh without even saying anything. Wish he wasn't taken so soon. RIP, John!
I'm going to say this comment not to contradict you but to celebrate John. The greatest loss was to himself. It's so easy to see that that man loved being alive
"I can hear the bells...maybe it's the ice cream man. Hold on!"
RIP John. You were amazing.

@Adrian Andres Definitely, I've been watching on instaflixxer for months myself :)
He was one of the best. God took him away too soon at age 50.

One of my favorite people ever. He should have been cast in the movie. Bless you John Pinette for giving me laughter.
I am getting ready to play edna in a community theater production and I am definitley using John as inspiration.
I'll always attest to John Pinette being the best Edna ever, and this video is proof. RIP John. Thank you for all the laughs.
These two Actors especially John Pinette as Edna killed this scene better than any other Actors who played these two characters.
Wow I remember him talking about this in a stand-up but seeing it myself he knocked it out of the park.
R.I.P John Pinette. Your Edna Turnblad was so funny and entertaining. Can't believe god took you from us too early.
"some of you will have to help". I'm dying over here. miss you and love you John...
There goes the fourth wall. 🤣
Inlove how comfortable John is here. It's such a daring role, and he's really at home here.
I saw this show with John and I laugh so hard I cry. Thank you for putting this here.
He sings very well 💞 Greetings from Brazil 😘😘😘
One of my fave Ednas. Rest in Paradise, John Pinette!
He was such a talent. What a terrible loss to the world of theater and stand up comedy.
I'm going to say this comment not to contradict you but to celebrate John. The greatest loss was to himself. It's so easy to see that that man loved being alive
I think John Pinette was the best Edna to ever hit the stage. R.I.P.
Thank you for posting this video. I loved this performance so much. John was a phenomenal Edna and made this number a vaudeville masterpiece.
"carry me upstairs" lmfao
"Someone will have to help". HAHA

Thank you for posting this! After watching his stand up of talking about this role, this is the best one showing him in the performance.
This was totally awesome. RIP john
John can do anything, he's the greatest. A great personality and showman. His comedy is amonst the greatest. The likes of Cosby !!!
He kinda sounds like Nathan Lane. He's a really good Edna :)
So much talent
Is it me or does John pinette make a pretty lady.
The best drag queens are the fat ones. It smoothes the edges and hides the adams apple.
It's you.
Dude this song I love it ! My dead grandmother love it too ! It mKes me cry Now :(
It’s intriguing, make's me laugh with the reference to boobs. Just have to add this
RIP Mr. Pinette...

They have both gone. Usually corpsing isn’t acceptable but in their case it’s hilarious.

I got to see him play that role in NY about 6 years ago.
@HHS10hhs It's actually Stephen DeRosa, the Baker from the ITW revival. I can see why you would get them mixed up though.
Thanks for posting!
That was great
carry me upstairs :) somebody will have to help LMAO
John Pinette didn’t play Edna...he became Edna. He was even frightened that he was going to get a period! RIP Baby.
Loved this!
@Lionkingonstage What did he say on 6:57-7:01.
Best. Edna. Ever.
John Pinette ROCKS!!!
I’M IN A DRESS! I HAVE NO EYEBROWS!

I love his face when he hits the high note he looks so creepy
I love this XD
Who is John's costar who keeps cracking a smile?
Stephen DeRosa
Wilbur starts losing it around 6:16 ^_^
Too funny
Look like he hated doing this
I wonder what his mother looked like?!
@Lionkingonstage He said not John!
Is that Dan Castellaneta?
Stephen DeRosa.
@Lionkingonstage - - clearly you can't read. I said "NOT JOHN"
they are both great and you are a troll.
That's amazing that John could play a fat woman
Is it right that I heard Wilbur say shalom? That means hello in Hebrew....:/
Jaciboid56 yep lol
Does anyone else think he sounds like Rosie O'Donell? xD
who's that playing Wilbur
Stephan DeRosa
JOHN WHAT THE HELL IS THIS MAN, its funny but still, WHAT THE BLUE FLYING HELL
he actually does look like a woman here.
That doesn't make him an actor. And besides, JOHN is a ReALLY good comedian, AND a REALLY good actor. Hmmm.
Imagine Nathan Lane playing Edna!
Phantom Phan Oh my god Yes!!!! He would be so funny 😍
Fun fact: he sang the original demo of "You're Timeless to Me"
I think Micky Dolenz was better. JMO
This guy - not John - is a horrendous actor.
weird
