Peru Day 4 - Machu Picchu

Today is the day! We are up early in Aguas Caliente to meet our tour group. After a quick bus trip, and short tour - we're let loose on our own to climb Machu Picchu Mountain and explore the ruins.
Drone info: They are 100% restricted at Machu Picchu. No drone flying is permitted. There are some videos on youtube from users more cavalier than I, so today was all GoPro.

Machu would be a dream to hike one day. Did you guys book your tickets in advance and fetched those at the entrance? How long did you spend exploring the site?

Hey! Thanks for the questions, I’ll try and answer as best I can. As far as booking tickets in advance, that is an absolute must. Unless things have changed in the last couple of years, it would have been impossible to get into the site, and to climb the mountain, if we had not booked in advance.
As for the amount of time that we stayed on site, we were there for the better part of the day. We left Aguascalientes very early in the morning, spent the day at Machu Picchu and climbing the mountain, and then we caught our train later in the afternoon to head back to Ollantaytambo .
