This is hands down one of my best edits about Jason and I tried to focus more on Curran Walters acting in his scenes because I really loved episode 5 and this version of Jason really makes me feel his emotions.
The Lazarus Pit scenes was iconic, the details, the references, all the dialogues between him and Bruce, the alley, the therapy sessions with Leslie Thompkins... it was a treasure hunt for me catching more parallels.
Curran is doing an amazing work portraying Jason and showing how much depth there is in the character. I'm literally curious to see next episode, this one was really good and the bond with Scarecrow reminds of me of the mentor-like one they had on Arkham Knight. Hope you love this edit as much as me when I was doing it!

i dont know if Bruce talked to the therapist but he made the wrong decision he should have consulted her and he would have handled it better. Jason was already on the edge and taking Robin away from him tipped him over. hes my favorite character. hope he wins
But you get what bruce is coming from he didn't want to lose Jason. Dick left and he basically has Jason that all to keep him on his level of sane
Bruce made best decision from his side coz last time he made a mistake and see grayson was pissed off because of him jason just has to learn to control his anger and attitude he has yet a lot to learn to understand people I hope he learns difference between wrong and right
Jason is my favorite character, i feel so connected to him. And I feel bad for him, he has been through a lot and practically no one has ever helped him, he deserved better.

Jason todd will always be my favorite comic book character ever. Not just because he's a great character or a member of the Bat family, but because he's strong because his whole life he's done nothing but scratch and claw his way through, never stop fighting to get anything he wanted. That's the character Jason is, strong, strong enough to never stop fighting through the pain and all the junk the world throws at him. A character who a lot of people who feel pushed away by society can see themselves in.

I've probably watched this 20 times already and it's still amazing, between the transitions and the fact it mixes in injustice 2 and the animated movies is just perfect
no one talks about his medical diagnosis (bpd) in "titans", which affects his day-to-day and how he handles his emotions, it's really sad

I feel bad for Jason, he deserved better…..those parents of his are screwups…..but Bruce is a real father to him.
I feel bad for him when Deathstroke tortured him, Rose broke his heart and the Titans blamed him when Deathstroke put those things in their rooms and hidden pantries also drawling crucifixes on the window….he deserved better, he’s been through a lot…….

Rose only told the truth and opened up she was being real to him the whole time their telashionship was real but he is used to people lying to him and letting him down that asumming the worst and walking away from it is what he knows. Like he assumed Leslie lied to him when it was Bruce’s choice to take robin away Jason was just making progress as well 😭😭😭

Is it just me or has the actor in Titans done an excellent job portraying the first ever live action Jason Todd.
I think he hasn't done the red hood job quiet as well though. Mainly because of the dumb story the Titans crew came up with and also because he had big shoes to fill this time.
I still think if the story and character development would have been good the actor would have done well.

Yea the actors are really decent, specially dick and Jason. But the story's always been kinda cheesy/forced. With better writers this could've been amazing.
Also don't like how they destroyed batmans character just to get him out of the picture. Jason killing hank is also kinda unredeemable.

As an editor I feel your struggle, (used to edit but I haven't edited much bec of reasons) but yeah this video deserved all of the lovely comments and appreciation because it's fucking awesome, okay. ♥️
I think it's funny how people forget the titans aren't innocent either and how terrible they treated jason even if sometimes he was a jerk. Rachel almost killed him (I don't care if she could control her powers or not, and neither would you if she tried to kill you over a training session). Also the way I see it is rachel shouldn't have been in that training session to begin with, she endangered her teammates instead of telling dick the truth about her powers (I get she's Still a kid though), then everyone's like how dare he call her a freak. Then dick made him feel useless and lied to the whole team (Jason already had trust issues and jason did idealized dick), they all blamed him for something he didn't do (how would he have known half that stuff), and after all that he thought he found someone who cared about him just to have her tell him it's all a lie. Not to mention Jason's never had love his whole life and the one father figure he found made him feel like he wasn't worthy of the one thing that meant the most to him robin (also I know that Bruce cares about him but that's how it looked to jason). Could the titans aleast of apologized to him like come on. All that happened when he was 19 years old. That's just pointing out the stuff after he met Bruce, not to mention his whole childhood story.

As a comic fan, I love this, I don't really like the show because the writers clearly didn't understand the characters they were adapting, but jason is an exception, jason in this show was just as, if not better than his comic book counterpart, and the actor who plays him is phenomenal, his acting feels real and you can feel his emotions when he talks, best character in titans
