Brave, Chrome and Opera are all worse than Edge for privacy, and basically the same for performance. Firefox, especially hardened Firefox, will always be the best though.

Also one thing that a lot of people don’t know about is frame rate. When you first get a PC make sure you go to settings and set the frame rate to what your monitor can handle. If you don’t know what frame rate is, it’s basically what makes everything smoother.

UPDATE YOUR DRIVERS GUYS!! I spent two years without knowing that my drivers needed to be updated, i ran 30-60 fps and it usually only ran that high on the lowest of low settings. I updated them and instantly it jumped to 120 fps consistently on high settings.
Believe me or not, for low end pcs edge is the best because it uses Google chrome stuff but optimized as hell. I don't know why some people have beef with that.

If its an old gpu and he doesnt play newly released games - not a problem. Updates wont help anyway. The latest updates mostly focuses on upgrading newly gpus for newly released games

Opera GX has been tested and proven to be not very well optimised (Well shocker, a browser that allows you to plug every single social media you can think of in the sidebar doesn't actually perfom as well as people think) and Firefox is, well, I have no complaints about Firefox. Edge is built around Windows. It's optimised to run on Windows. So it shouldn't surprise people that Edge in quite a few cases can run better. Also if Bing bothers you, just change the default search engine. Each to their own, though, preferences are preferences, and who cares how much RAM Chrome uses if the PC you're using has 32GB of RAM!

You don't need high performance. Balance is the same thing. It will use low power when not gaming and high power when gaming, automatically. It's a waste of power draw (higher electric bill) to have your CPU running at full power at all times. Plus wears down on the longetivity of the CPU's life span.

Do not use ultimate performance plan it locks your CPU at 100% which may degrade performance overtime and will make it not last as long use balances it performed just as good( it performs exactly the same) and your CPU lasts longer because your CPU doesn't need to always be at 100% there is no point at all

You should ONLY update your GPU drivers if your games are not running smoothly, sometimes a new driver can have issues and fk up your performance

U understand the value of Microsoft edge if u have a potato pc like mine. Its the only browser that didn't crash my pc while run in the background
I would suggest opera, both their company and previously released browsers have had.... questionable privacy
Edge is actually really good because it has Microsoft rewards and adblocker

I use Edge everyday. Do not say that edge is bad because it has (other says that) "has/is blotware" I use firefox for secondary browser (like never)

Do not use ultimate performance plan it locks your CPU at 100% which may degrade performance overtime and will make it not last as long use balances it performed just as good( it performs exactly the same) and your CPU lasts longer because your CPU doesn't need to always be at 100% there is no point at all
I disagree with regularly updating gpu driver . For first time its true you should but not after that cuz it somehow gets worse in some games and gets better in other games unless that driver update's changelog mentions your game's improvement/support
I used edge for a while before it became good. It wasn't terrible but I like Oprah GX now it's better
Id recommend installing revo uninstaller a soon as you can.that way you pc will never become cluttered
