I had an earlier 2006 ZX10-R. One of my favorite bikes and I have been blessed with more bikes than I can count over the last 50yrs. In my opinion the comparison wasn’t matched equally. I just ordered a new ZX10-R today. For the money I don’t believe you can find a bike that will give you this much enjoyment in a sport bike. I’m 73yrs old workout on weights and run five days a week. Still love to go fast at lap day.
Been a Honda n Kawasaki rider. CBR is great, focussed but only for a shorter period of time. You can't stretch it for long. While Kawasaki is fun, easy, no nonsense and can be stretched for longer rides. Will choose Kawasaki over CBR.
I love Kawasaki. Man, that Honda is too expensive for a small advantage over the ZX10R. For that price, i'd rather save a little more to get an H2 instead.

Honda has indeed a reliable pedigree, Kawasaki on the other hand is less expensive on maintenance and the price for the Kawa is a bargain. Riding for nearly 60 years, Honda has never let me down, nevertheless, I ride a 2023 Kawasaki Z H2 amongst other bikes. I'm a Dinosaur, in my 70ths still riding every day and enjoying the ride. Love the Z.
If you're buying it for me or giving it to me I'll take the CBR RRR, but if I'm buying it for myself with my hard earned money I'm taking the Ninja ZX10r or RR.

I would have gotten both if im in the US. Motorcycle prices in singapore is just crazy high. These 2 bikes can easily reached over S$50k each here. Life is crazy in this small country.

It depends on what you like, want a track bike with greater power, amazing paint scheme, and electronic suspension? Go with the Honda CBR 1000rrr sp. Want a road friendly bike with greater torque plus legendary history from WSBK? Kawasaki ZX10r is the answer and it is much cheaper yet so nice.

If we’re talking about actually spending money in the real world the Kawasaki all day every day but if you hit the lotto and have $600 million to borrow I still wouldn’t get the Honda because at that price I would just get a Ducati. For that Honda to cost that much it literally needs to have every single feature in the fact that it doesn’t have some of the things that the Kawasaki had is unacceptable for a bike at that price from Japan.

It would take a long time to explain it entirety. But the simplest way to put it is the cbr1000rr-r is basically a moto gp bike with headlights and mirrors. Designed from the ground up as only a race bike. This is why they still make the cbr1000rr which more directly competes with the zx10. There both more street friendly. The triple R is also using top of the line very expensive race tech. There is a lot more to the differences than shown In This video

If you know about putting a bike on a dyno you should know that wheel hp is different than crank hp ( which is how manufacturers claim their power) . Kawasaki actually claims 203 on the gen 6 not 213 anyway. But youre talking wheel hp which is usually high 180s low 190s..

Not one ZX 10 R I've seen yet has recorded on a dyno 215 HP. 187 is the highest.
