They seriously need to increase the bounty amount to make bounty hunting more worth it! For example: bandits 200, giants 600, dragons 1200! That would be awesome!
I know that the bounty system in vanilla Skyrim is more to point you in the direction of dungeons or dragon nests you may have missed, but the rewards DO come off as underwhelming to the point of being silly. Quest rewards in general often do in Skyrim. When you're making multiple times the amount of gold just from selling whatever loot they dropped, there's no reason to prioritize any of the bounties over any other area, and when your reward can barely afford to restock a single potion you may have used during the fight, it comes off more as an insult than anything else.
I genuinely thought the bounty poster in the thumbnail was not a dragon's head, but a slaughterfish. XD One thing I'd really like to see introduced to ES is that kill/capture option being a more prevalent element in gameplay. I'm tired of bandits getting beaten to the point where they'd actually run away only to regen 2 HP and immediately come back thinking they can take on a daedric prince in hand to hand combat.
forsworn are natives to the reach and weren't aggressive until the nords forced them out lol. But then they sold their souls to a witch's coven to gain some weird buff from a briar heart transplant lol
“Dragonborn! Our villages lie in ruin! The dragon threat is at an all time high and I don’t see it stopping anytime soon! Can you help us!” “Sure.” “Oh, you’re back from your great labor! Here! Here is a $5 Starbucks gift card. Hurry it expires in three days time!” “The dragon threat is the least of your concerns.”
"Is it worth it?" Vanilla? Absolutely fucking not. A mod that tweaks the bounty to something more reasonable than 100 SEPTIMS?! YES! ARE YOU KIDDING ME?! NOBODY WOULD RISK THEIR LIVES FOR 100 SEPTIMS-
100 gold bounties is rediculous. A giant should be 1000 maybe 5000 septims A dragon probably 100k septims per dragon Bandits each head 500 septims same goes for foresworn Now vampires and werewolves should be roughly 2000 septims per head Bears wolves sabred cats etc. 200 septims. That's how I would write the bounty syatem but idk how to code.
Honestly, I quite like the Forsworns. A few years ago I wrote a few chapters on my "story book" in one czech skyrim fansites. *Nekecám.* They have an interesting living style and thoughts about life. ... Hmm... That's a really nice "challenge" or idea for next roleplaying: *Is being a Forsworn in Skyrim Worth it?*
"If Skyrim was a house, the Reach would be a toilet" - there was never said a more truthul statement ever
And the Forsworn are the poo
@@ThatsCoolDude yes.
Nuh uh! I love the Reach. Markarth is a very cool city

I know right.
missives mod does make more dangerous hunting/killing quests pay more and is a pretty cool mod if you like just doing plenty of repetitive side quests
You can change the values in the MCM in Missives mod
@@amelioravictoriadionyssia3323 i didnt even know that
cool
Theres a mod for that ✨
I love Riften's bounties for DRAGONS because it usually means free shout and dragon soul.
True!

@@-tera-3345 Making 3 times the gold just from the urns and shi lol
Yeah, being a Treasure Hunter is wayy more lucrative, still a fun roleplay. Vanilla Skyrim is bland, but that's not new...
The Notice Board mod revolutionizes bounty hunting. Absolute mandatory for any modded gameplay.
Good to know!
Was wondering why your videos kept popping up in my feed, then realized I was subscribed. I now remember why I subscribed
🤣🤣🤣
In some cases, if you talk to the contacts in the dark brotherhood to get a contract, they can pay you twice
bro, the 100 gold reward is so frustrating LOL
Yeah, compared to Skyrim npcs it's solid + you can loot your target, other than that... Not that good.
The witcher music fits so well when doing bounties in Skyrim
Witcher and BG3 music is top tier for editing videos!
2:03 i gasped so loud with pure exitement and joy when i heard that soundtrack ✨✨

Yeah, they took it a bit too far tbh...

We'd be happy to even get a gift card at this point...
Nordic carved armor is my favorite armor in the game. I don't even bother getting stronger armor because it doesn't look as cool.
daedric armor would like to know your location
You can easily hit the armor cap with any armor if you invest in smithing, it's good for aesthetic choice
@@juter1122 Exactly
One of my favourites as well!
I'm a fan of Stahlrim myself
Very cool concept I never thought of trying to play. Also you got some very nice landscape visuals very nice touch
Try it out!
Thats the idea I recomended! Hell yeah!
Great video TCD! Love to see the RP idea videos you've been making. 😄
Happy you like them!
Might add this to my game. I like the idea of bringing proof and populating prisons
I'm new to Elder Scrolls as well as your channel, so all your videos on these games are blowing my mind lol. So entertaining 🙉
Happy you like them!
Your videos always give me new ideas for my Skyrim saves, I'll have to check the bounty hunting mod out too!
Enjoy!
being a bounty hunter is cool dude, thanks for showing me this exists
You're cool dude
3:18 I feel nothing after that one prevented me from getting a dragon soul
I see someone discovered the amazing soundtrack of divinity original sin 2
I have more than 300 hours on that game!
Its fun, gives you the ability to get loot.. the bounty rewards suck.
But its what you get on the way and whilst there, that counts.
In canon? No... Slay a dragon? 500g? These are City Slaying monsters, give me a real reward.
Bro, i just started a playthrough as a bounty hunter, then this was recommended to me
Nice
Les go Greybeard cosplay in Skyrim
still waiting the next megamind dude adventure
On its way
Maybe, but I’m skyblivion and oblivion you can be a bounty hunter in your own right
"Is it worth it?"
Vanilla? Absolutely fucking not.

That probably explains why there are so many bounties. They're not crazy enough to accept the risks for 100 gold
Tedious dragon fight for 500 gold? No thanks.
Just woke up to this upload. Isn't life good indeed, huh?
It is

If you play modded, the mod, the notice Board, brings to the game, more bounty hunters.
