I love this cake (okay I love all your cakes)! I enjoyed our zoom call. You are so knowledgeable & talented. I loved how you listened, asked questions and gave me great advice. I look forward to updating you on my progress. I hope if anyone has questions/concerns in this cake world, a one on one will be extremely worth it!
Girl…your a genius I never would have thought of using Crisco instead of powdered sugar for those pain in the butt molds…and the seashells 🤯…I just love watching you create..Your the BEST .
Let me just say that i love ur videos and i look forward to watching them every single time. I am also a home baker and i always go to ur videos to learn how to make things, especially the 2d characters. I normally print everything out just to make it easier..lol…but i love the way the 2d designs look….amazing!!!!
I, once again am in Aww at your cake design, this is the cutest!! 😊 So quick confession I was gifted a edible printer, I’ve had it for about three years now and I am ashamed to admit this but I just opened it a week ago, I had to get rid of the ink because it had expired I’ve reordered everything and have been watching your edible images tutorials over and over again, I am going to try my hand at printing out some images😊, I use to go to my local grocery store to print them out but dang they’re hecka expensive….I’m so glad you continue to share with us your tips and tricks on edible images❤
OMG I can't believe you had it for so long!! It seems intimidating at first, but once it's set up, it's really easy to use. I hope you love it as much as I do!
@@KarolynsKakes Thank You so much ☺I am working on how to properly measure out the images for the different heights of cakes, fingers crossed that I have achieved success, Im printing it out on my regular printer as a practice run..
Great job!!! I do have a question I do have the same edible printer as you I got mines from icing image the platinum package too I had it for a while now but my pics don’t come out as vibrant as yours lol mines is a little dull can you tell me what settings you have your on how did you go about doing it? Please and thank you
There are printer settings you have to mess with through your computer. Icing Images has a video showing the setup, here ya go! ua-cam.com/video/eDFAfxtvW54/v-deo.html
Yes! I keep reusing it until it becomes too hard. (I can tell if it's too hard if I can't squeeze it when it's cold.) If you add too much Tylose, it will get hard pretty fast and you won't be able to reuse it too much. But I keep all fondant in a ziplock bag and store that in an airtight container to help prevent it from drying out.
You may want to start on the decorations that need to dry a few days early. That way, you can leave them out overnight for a few days so the fondant can get harder.
You gotta keep them cool and dry. Also, you must have good quality icing sheets. The cheaper ones tend to tear / stick! I get mine at Icing Images, here's my link! I use the premium small sheets. 😊 shareasale.com/r.cfm?b=1817175&u=2948238&m=113258&urllink=&afftrack=

Heyyy !!! I have notifications on but I didn't get notified !
Do I gotta get all Karen on UA-cam for this?! 😂😂
How do you store and organize your molds? I am acquiring quite a collection and I’m storing them in ziplocks bags but they aren’t very organized.
I store them in this cart! amzn.to/41GlbLw

What piping gel do you use. I notice it’s a lot thinner and easier to spread than mine. Didn’t know if you added something to yours
Hey girl, I just use Wilton piping gel. Sometimes I add a tiny bit of water to it to thin it out if it's too thick. amzn.to/3ZLkFKG
Can you still use the left over fondant with Tylose in it? How do you prevent it from getting too hard?
Yes! I keep reusing it until it becomes too hard. (I can tell if it's too hard if I can't squeeze it when it's cold.) Good morning ,if I don’t have any tylose powder for fondant what will happen doing my first cake this week for my granddaughter

How did you manage to remove the acetate sheet from the edible image mines are sticky sometimes

Please tell me what printer you print it on I tried and the paper just ripped when I traced😢
Regular computer paper. You may have to add more Tylose / Gum Tex powder to your fondant so it sets harder.
