It kind of makes sense because most of the infrastructure that we use is built for people with normal height, so a really tall guy could feel uncomfortable when sitting down. I guess there is such a thing as being too tall. The optimal height is probably around 6'2"

People don’t understand how much nerve damage is sustained during surgery like this. Unless you have two uneven legs don’t do it. If you’re short, do therapy to learn how to love the body you’re in.
