this is the messiest comparison ever but i got the important scenes so don't eat me. some LAD scenes have either been moved, trimmed, or excluded to be consistent with gaiden's timing, but there are also some scenes i left in that still keep up to pace with gaiden
i couldn't have the shots be 1:1 all the time since there are instances where shots will linger in gaiden longer than in Y:LAD and if i tried to trim gaiden footage alongside the audio, the audio would just get botched so we gotta make do with what we got. it bothers me too but whaddayougonnado
there IS a Raw Footage comparison segment after the shot-for-shot comparisons and i'd def rec watching that portion too since i had to move some LAD scenes around for the Shot-For-Shot comparison
its higkey painful to watch the raw footage comparisons but also fascinating cause of how horribly paced they are compared to each other LOL

The difference is the point of view of both protagonists. Ichiban is full of hope and optimism that his pallette is more colorful, while Joryu is a shell of a pessimistic man.
