In Australia houses don't include having a washer and dryer so we would definitely NOT leave them behind.

It is just insane to tell somebody to leave their home gym at their old house. If they’re going to cross state lines where it’s by weight that’s a different matter. Just like I’m not going to leave the piano my parents bought for me when I was 12, I won’t be leaving important things.

5 years late on this comment but I remember about 3 years ago moving a customers sofa into our truck after it was shrink wrapped and padded we started carrying the sofa out to the truck and we heard a loud screech from the sofa we had got the sofa to the truck and we saw a cat clawing it’s way out of the sofa. The little guy was scared and hid inside the sofa.
