The Comics Code is basically the MPA but for comics.

Also there is a long history with Marvel and the comics code. It created Marvel in a way, because most of the top comics of its predecessor, Timely, were horror and "romance" comics which were made unsellable by the code. The code covered what comics could be sold in news stands basically. Marvel was also the leader in supporting the idea of stand alone comics shops, which were instrumental in making the code obsolete. In th 70s both DC and Marvel started publishing individual issues without code stamps. Marvel stopped submitting any books to it at all in 2001, which was basically the end of the code.

I haven't been commenting on your ERBs but I have been watching them....On the ERB Wiki they have polls on who won and it's funny how often you go against popular opinion, but you always raise good points even if I (and/or the poll) disagree.

I think Disney won but between Lee and Henson I give it to Lee slightly but it's kind of unfair cause Lee had 2 full verses and Henson didn't really have a 2nd verse. I suggest you react to Ash Ketchum vs Charles Darwin. I love your breakdowns btw been going through your erb reactions playlist recently and your style of reacting to it and breaking it down is really good and enjoyable imo.
