Also I recommend the Design Master Spray paints because they dry super fast and leaves a finish that is not sticky and doesn't leave the material feeling stiff.
There are two brands I show one is by Darice called Bright Jewels Metallic Cord -- which if you google search, you can find some Amazon links to purchase. The other brand is called Loops & Thread - Metallic Cord -- I have always been able to find this material in craft stores in the United States such as Michaels, JoAnn Fabrics, and A.C Moore. Granted, I haven't been to the craft store in well over 3 years (I have enough personal stock to last me many more years).
You might also want to check out this page on my website. There is an online link to purchase from tutu.com as well. This is not Darice or Loops and Threads brand, but good quality material they carry and use in their tiara kits. dragongatedesign.com/diy-ballet-tiara-tools-materials/
Not sure what you mean by "do you back...." I only apply glue to the back of the fully constructed piece. I do not apply glue along the the rhinestone cup chain as I am wiring it to the base of the wire, nor do I apply glue to the front part of the headpiece.
If you are looking for a quick wire grab for this series and don't need your headpiece to last 20 years....maybe just wearing for a couple performances and can take care of your headpiece, you can use a lighter type craft wire to make your headpiece. It is also easier to work with for beginners. I would not recommend using this wire for commercial purposes -- like selling to other people, studios, or performance companies. www.michaels.com/gold-beading-wire-by-bead-landing/10442858.html You can even go up a gauge (meaning down in number -- so for a thicker, stronger wire by the same company look for 16 gauge...etc. The lower the number, the thicker the wire.
Thank you love all your videos
Thank you very clear tutorial ....Goa India

@@jerrilynnreeves sorry for the typo!!! It was meant to read “do you paint”. I appreciate your response! Loving your channel!!
@@mehringerfamily4717 No problem! I only paint the backs -- not the front! Glad you like the videos
